Before my trial was up, Lirica said they would charge the ANNUAL subscription price if I didn’t cancel before the week was up. Then they gave me the run around to cancel it. They say you have to do it through iTunes. Except iTunes doesn’t handle cancelations any more! After trying every which way to cancel it, I eventually had to contact Apple. Lirica refunded me the money, but they’re still keeping THE WRONG INFORMATION in their app. I give them two stars for refunding my money, but I’m keeping it there until they STOP STEALING PEOPLE’S MONEY by charging them before the trial is up, and for not providing the correct information on how to cancel your subscription. I have to say, it does feel like a lot more of it has gone premium, but it’s still a brilliant app.

Will not work. I deleted and redownloaded but the app still says there’s an internal server error.

Music is a great way for me to learn. Having the lyrics broken down is one thing, and it’s enough for this app to be worthy of a download on its own. But this all goes a step further and breaks down the grammar AND the cultural context surrounding each line. I couldn’t have asked for more, as a beginner to Spanish. Show more

I have completed all the songs in Spanish. Please add some new Spanish songs Lyrica! I am working on German songs now which is hard since I know no German yet. This is how I plan to learn some. I would love lots more languages, even a few introductory songs in Korean, French, Portugués, and more! More exposure to different cultures, songs and stars. Show more

This app is extremely helpful in learning Spanish. I hope the free version will go far than just a couple songs. I have only listened to two songs so far but I really love it!! Show more

Its actually pretty fun, I speak Spanish just trying out things to help my wife, and this is a cool way to help hear spoken Spanish.

Great app to learn different languages

I’m learning so much more then just speaking Spanish… this is a more productive way to learn.

The first song Tusa I did was hard but I don’t mind

It’s nice to have an app that dissects a song text by text, music is often played in the background without much attention but this app allows to dissect vocabulary and acquire the local phrases. I commend that and I really hope they initiate the French language too because there are a plethora of songs that are similar to Latin hip hop and French is an important language to study . I purchased the lifetime subscription and I believe it is for the greater good in order to install additional songs in different languages. Show more

Very good and practical

Highly recommend. Music keeps it interesting. I think its a great way to learn. This app is effective at teaching and it hasn’t asked me for money yet.

If you’re naturally a music lover this will take your language learning to the next level. The cultural tips are very helpful! A great supplement to Pimsleur & Rosetta Stone.

Engaging way to learn a language such music is so engaging and it’s fun to develop the ability to follow and understand songs. It’s useful for learning lyrics and getting a feel for language structure and vocab. However, there are a few major flaws. 1. You can’t watch full videos “Learn” tap, nor search for songs in the “Play” tab. This makes watching the full video and lyrics for a song you’re learning tedious to find since you need to scroll through the entire collection to find it. 2. There are useful tips and phrases in the learn modules that pop up as cards, but they cannot be retrieved afterwards. Once you see a tip, there should be a central repository of these useful phrases similar to that implemented for vocabulary. As it is there’s really no good way to review past material. 3. You can navigate back within a lesson to review a tip/pronunciation/anything. This should be possible as it’s easy to answer a question and want to review true concept before closing the lesson. Despite it’s flaws I am subscribing to this app to support the team and idea, but I wouldn’t recommend it to others until the above feature are implemented. I’ll update this review and rating if/when these basic features are implemented Show more
