    Awesome!
It’s working! Makes learning piano more comfortable and efficient.

    Doesn’t support 2 octaves
    Good. Doesn’t support 2 octaves.

    Doesn’t work.
Instructions are not good. Incomplete. How do the dots get projected onto the keys?

Only works on full sized keys
Cool app but they should really have the ability to adapt to different sized keybeds. Would love to use this with my MIDI controller but it doesn’t use full sized keys. Great tool for full sized keys though. Show more

    Great AR, minimal chords.
The tracking and positioning of the dots work amazingly, I can even put my hands in front of them to play the chords and the dots are completely stationary, and position exactly where the keys are. But the big problem with this app is that the number of chords they offer is minimal, if you are a beginner this probably won’t effect you, because all of the basic chords are there. But if you want anything above a 7th (9th, 11th, 13th, etc), this app has none of it. Another problem is that you can’t change the inversions of the chords. This app has great potential though Show more

    Doesn’t work.
Good idea, but doesn’t work on my Yamaha 88 key Clavinova. Money back, please.

Nice idea, but it doesn’t work
I really like the idea, but it doesn’t work on a smaller synth keyboard like the Korg minilogue. The dots overlap and don’t align for each key. I hope it gets updated soon. Show more

Cool idea.. now make it work!
Doesn't align well at all to piano keys. Unfortunately that is the one fundamental thing this app needs to get right to be functional. The major issues I'm seeing (Yamaha CP-5): - Dots slide around after calibration; they do not maintain the positions you set. - The target for placing a dot can become permanently rotated if you start calibration from across the room and then walk over to the keyboard. Workaround is to be standing at your keyboard when to start, which may seem obvious, but I initially downloaded this app while sitting on the couch. I actually think they should endeavor to detect your keyboard when you point your camera at the full 88 keys, or some subset that includes an edge. This shouldn't be too difficult. They could then auto-calibrate and you wouldn't have to manually place dots. It appears that they are not tracking any part of the keyboard and are mostly relying on AR surface recognition to track the dots that you set. The result is poor tracking & accuracy. 3 stars for the idea -- looking forward to updates! Show more

    Use with other keyboards
Would be great if you could specify the number of keys for unconventional keyboards. ie midi controllers etc.

Doesn’t work with my Akai MPK mini keyboard
I bought it 5 minutes ago and it doesn’t on my AKAI MPK mini keyboard that I use at home. The app sounds great but it doesn’t work for smaller keyboards. I bought it and tried it on my 25 key midi keyboard and the blue dots doesn’t align at all. Show more

    Works great but
Only if you have a standard sized keyboard. Used it on a Yamaha and it worked like a charm. Tried it on my TE OP-1 and Korg Sub fatty and it couldn’t line up they keys properly. Despite those issues I will continue to recommend this app for new players and for my students to reference at home when practicing. Show more

    Has potential
It does what its supposed to... but i wish they would show inversions and have options on names of the chords.

    Good idea. Doesn’t work.
This is a great idea – too bad it doesn’t work. I have gone through the align and calibration process multiple times. I have the newest version of the app and running on iPhone X. It just doesn’t work. Some of the dots get placed exactly in between two keys, some get placed on the wrong key. Either the software or the hardware is not to the sophistication level needed for this to be accurate. Without the accuracy - it’s basically worthless. Show more

    Great idea but...
I really love the concept of this app, but I’d like for it to work with pianos that have less than 88 keys.
  • HJRINEC, 09.09.2018
My 88 keyboard does not align either
I love the idea, but no matter how hard I try, there are always some black keys in the middle way off - even your right demo screen shows that.

    Still a bit buggy
The notes don’t align up perfectly on a baldwin standup. The G# is completely off. Also doing adding some basic music playing like ar tutorial style would be nice. You are on to something now how to perfect it is the question. Hope you are able to take it to the full potential. Show more

    Super cool, two comments.
This is a really cool idea and seems to work pretty well as I have played with it for a few minutes. I have two comments though: When calibrating the dots on the highest and lowest keys, you need to sit in the middle of your piano bench from the playing position and just turn to the left or right to target the keys. I made the mistake of moving my body position too much trying to get the target lined up with the key and it threw off the calibration. Maybe a little more direct instructions on how to do that might be helpful to make the process more friendly for first time users? I noticed a bug where some of the chords with many sharp keys (roots C#, D#, A#, F#, etc) have the diminished triads and augmented triads switched in the notation. The augmented chord shows up in the diminished box and the diminished in the augmented. Other than that I’m sure this will be a helpful tool for a lot of people. I plan on recommending it to my piano students who are excited about learning chords. Thanks! Show more

    Love it ♥️
Works wonderfully with my yamaha (61 keys keyboard). This app makes it so much easier to learn. I would like to recommend something. I wish it could display all the keys name. Show more

    Can be Improved!
This is such a cool app, but the second marker never appears. I wish I could use this for learning, but I need this fixed. I will try to change my review if this is fixed! Show more

    Doesn’t work w/25 key keyboard
Really like the concept of the app and hoping that this gets updated to work. There’s no marker for adding the highest note when using this on my Arturia keystep keyboard. Show more
