This is a great app for vocalists. Especially lead singers in a band. If the song the band wants to do isn’t in your range you have a choice of changing the songs key, (which I don’t like cuz some songs only sound good in the original key) or just tell the guys or gals that the song shouldn’t be in the list. it only gives male artists instead of some female artists

I wish it would give a list of singers - I keep getting the same artist which doesn’t help me. I like knowing my range but would like a bigger artist library. Show more

I am a base voice and I can go lower than a C2 and that is as low as the detector goes I can make it sit at C2 but I want to know what notes I am capable of below a C2 if you have an alto or a beratone voice then this is ok but not for a low bass or high supreno Show more

I can sing about three notes higher than the limit is so it is annoying

I mean come on there’s no way I’m a male with a four octave range. This thing says I can hit a c6 and a c2 on the low end. It’s like one of those fake iq tests that tells everyone their iq is 190. Show more

Didn’t help at all. The lowest note it would give at all was a C2, which I can hit easily. I’ve hit a G0 before so I know that this app isn’t worth it. Show more

I’m a lazy bass, so this app was so useful for finding my vocal range. However I can see that thee range that it detects is limited. I’m pretty moderate in my vocal range, so it didn’t create any issues for me, but I know basses and sopranos that could benefit from a wider detectable range. I don’t know anything about programming but I hope it’s a simple addition you can add. Great app. Show more

Needs to be able to go higher, good otherwise

First, it said I was a soprano, and then it compared me to John Lennon. I’m a GIRL. I don’t have a low voice either...

It was spot on. When I compared it to my piano it was much more convenient and easy to use.

Stops at a C6, which really is not a good representation of vocal range. I can personally go beyond that and it’s frustrating that it ends there. I don’t need to know that I have the basic high note of a soprano down. I would like a more inclusive update for range. Show more
