This app puts dr. Beat to shame and for about $175 less(last I checked the local shop). If you take the time to learn this app the possibilities and applications are almost endless. You can program an actual rhythm and/or metric modulation with the pulse at the same time. Could not recommend this enough to any musician!!! Especially Invaluable for drummers or any instrument requiring linear independence. A+++ Definitely geekn’ out for this app. Show more

Not sure if this is a bug, but the faded open circle is always “silence” for me.

Not sure if this is a bug, but the faded open circle is always “silence” for me.

Love the simple and straight forward implementation. Please, make it were you can create and name presets instead of overwriting the defaults. I am completely happy with everything else about this application. I get most users want to throw everything and the kitchen sink into one application but I really hope this app just builds on improving on what already exists instead of trying to attach the api for external applications etc. Keep it simple and clean like it should be and already is. Thank you Show more

Impulse is a great metronome and offers so many options. I love the ease of changing time signature and the fact that you can have a different subdivision on every beat. My only issue right now is that if you’re using the app, go to a different app, then come back to impulse it won’t respond anymore. You have to close out and re-open. I’m sure it’s a simple fix, and the app is amazing other than that! Show more
