This is my first day of trying this app but I play clarinet for 7th grade band so my mom told me about this app cuz she is such a great mom and wants me to progress in my clarinet learning. So I just recently got this app and started using it and your first note that you learn is note g and when you play you can choose practice or perform which always press practice first so you can know how it works. And then when you first practice is it will give you a countdown. There are about 4 quarter rests at the beginning and then you’ll start playing with the count down. And then once you press perform and you perform at the end it’ll give you a certain amount of stars and it will tell you like how your tone was and all that jazz but this app is really great and I hope that all of y’all have a great day ☺️ ?? It is a nice little app that gives good feedback about your playing right away and is good for having music to practice. I don’t like that you have a limited amount of free use of the app per day, however. Show more

The app is good but it goes to fast like I’m in the middle of a note and then it’s like it would almost skip a note...bad?

Woodwinds and Brass have almost nothing to help them in regard to music lesson apps. This app shows you sheet music, hears you play, tunes you, has a full campaign set up by skill level and even allows you to share your progress online via social media! I am happy to use this for clarinet. Note: This app does NOT teach technique. Pair this with a real-life teacher or at the very least, an online Udemy class for your instrument. Show more
