would love this ui for my plex library

It took me about 30 minutes after download and purchase to set this app up exactly the way I preferred. Much better interface than Apple Music on both my iPhone and my iPad. I assume from the reviews I’ve seen online that Android users would get even more benefits compared to using the standard Apple programs. Show more

After a many-months test drive marvis has become a regular part of my daily life. I think its use as a music discovery tool is somewhat weak (compared to apple music where, if I play a song, it will just automatically find more like it and queue it up) but as a way to engage with my library it absolutely trashes music.app I tried soor or whatever and really didnt like it, initially turned me off of music.app tie-in apps entirely. this is much better. App seems to work fine for me but I don’t really understand why I would need this when comparing it to the Music app. I feel like I paid $5 just to be able to play my music on a different app. Maybe I’m missing something but I don’t get how this is supposed to be any different than just using the Music app. ??‍♂️ Show more

So of course the extremely powerful filters and customizable Home Screen are major benefits of this app, but I just really enjoy the small details. The feature that prompted this review is how you can swipe right to bring out the menu and if you hold your finger down and drag it up and down anywhere on your screen you’ll navigate the menu. Letting go selects the currently highlighted menu item. This is REALLY helpful for using the app one handed and is much more convenient than the Reachability feature in iOS. Another nice detail is being able to customize how you share songs, whether it’s just an Apple Music link, a more universal Song.link and whether it should add the album art separately. Really impressive app. Show more

A bit perplexed why would I need this app instead of music app from Apple. It doesn’t do anything that extra what you expect from $5 app

I never liked the stock Apple music app. I found it too cluttered and hard to navigate. Marvis has everything I want in a music player. Love the widget, too. There only thing I'm missing is an in-App EQ. That'd be awesome. Show more

I would rate Marvis five stars. I find the Smart Playlists are anything but smart! I don’t like not being able to customize the Smart Playlists. Can’t even move or remove the Stupid Playlists. Not intuitive if they can be customize or removed. Not even listed alphabetically! Personal is before Smart! Last time I looked P is before S in the alphabet! Show more
