So close to perfection, I can taste it
I have been looking for an adequate app to handle playback of backing/accompanyment tracks and displaying lyrics — and this certainly gets the job done. After having used this for a few weeks now for different situations, I've developed a honey-do list that I would love to see implemented into StageTraxx to make it even more amazing. PLEASE, can you add these? • Separate profiles for those of us in multiple bands or solo projects to allow for separate collections of songs. • Easier audio controls to "navigate" the waveform on playback. Right now it's really clutzy and not very user-friendly to get to a certain point in the song. • An easy way to reset the song status. I can't seem to get rid of "done" after a song has played. It doesn't even reset when you've closed and re-opned the app. That doesn't make sense. • The ability to update/change JUST the audio without having to entirely replace the "song" in the app. When I have a track that I have to make modifications to (outside of StageTraxx), I'd love to be able to swap out the audio file for the new one. • I have also noticed that this app is like 2-3db quieter than other audio apps that I've used. So when you've got StageTraxx set to 0db to play the audio just as is, it's actually more like -3db or so when all is said and done. This should be corrected to match the actual desired audio output. (I compared it against my audio file editor, TwistedWave by comparison) • In addition to all the other shortcut key options that you can configure, it would be nice to have an option to "skip to the next song". If you've got a song that's trailing too long and the moment is right to just start the next song, I'd love to assign the forward arrow key to just start playing the next song (and stopping the previous one). But on the whole, I love the app, and it allows me to do much of what I need for live performances with accompanyment tracks. I'm a fan for sure. Make some (or all) of the above additions/mods and NOW we're talking! Show more

    Awesome! Tell your friends
I am honestly surprised there aren’t more reviews for Stage Traxx. I use this for my little backing track gig. This has everything I want: large fonts, large play/pause buttons, large minute/second indicator with a “countdown” option which was a MUST-HAVE for me, easy-to-make playlists, it stops at the end of the song whereas iTunes (iPad version) auto-plays next song, and it easily imports songs from iTunes (though I wish I could import directly from an iTunes playlist to a Stage Traxx playlist, because I have a lot of playlists already made in iTunes. Small potatoes though. Perfect app to easily manage my 600 tracks at a gig. Worth the few bucks it costs. Thanks Stage Traxx! Show more

    Impressive
Previously used StageTracker 3 for Windows for several years and I have been looking for a replacement. Since I found nothing suitable for Windows OS, I decided to try StageTraxx 3 for Mac OS. Not only is this a better replacement than what I used previously, it implements all the features I needed and implements them graciously. After purchase support is just as impressive and I am very happy with this purchase. I have not used StageTraxx for a LIVE gig yet but transferring my songs and lyrics is straight forward and works quite well. Thanks Peter! Show more

    Breath of fresh air
I’m coming from a competing app that I got frustrated with and have found ST3 to be a breath of fresh air. I’ve finished moving in over the past few weeks and am thrilled with the workflow and the straight-forward MIDI and lyrics time coding implementation. My only regret is not finding ST3 sooner! Best Backing Track app period
Your search is over. This app covers all the bases I need. Chart display, individual eq ,pitch ,speed and volume per track. I use 500 tracks and it's been flawless. A great time safer for a smooth performance. Show more

    Great app
I use the app as my full band. I play solo, I sing and play lead guitar, I use the app to orchestrate my gigs creating set lists. I am easily able to control the show live with Stage Traxx, and create a full band show. Incorporating the lyrics is easy to use and a great feature. I love it and recommend it! Show more
