This app is very helpful as a trumpet player to learn music on the fly. However it would be nice to be able to change the instruments to their correct key to be able to play along with the music, for example trumpet is in the key of Bb and flute is in the key of C and French horn is in the key of F etc. Show more

LOVE how this works with Finale! But how about us drummers/percussionists? When I import a drum chart into Finale, everything is captured in bass clef. Maybe a Finale glitch? I would definitely pay for the drummer feature. Show more

This is a great app, and I would have happily paid for it - if it was a single payment. But since the invention of subscription software, everyone wants in on the grift. . The developer charges a 23€ subscription per year, which is simply bonkers to me and a reason to uninstall. Show more

This is a really good tool-I use PS2 to practice chamber music. It works as promised most of the time. For the few times that I had difficulty, I contacted support and received prompt and effective help, and in the process learned more about how to work with the various settings to improve my sessions. You have to follow the instructions! If the music sounds odd, retake the photo. I highly recommend taking the photo on clean sheet music before you start marking it up. My favorite feature is that it allows you to turn on and off different staves which is huge when you’re learning new pieces and need to isolate parts. This app is a great tool and I highly recommend. I don’t need the paid version but am buying it anyway just to support the developers. Nice work! Show more

This app is pure magic. I can imagine the duck feet furiously paddling below the surface. But not a sign of that above the water. Blazing fast and accurate. (As long as you get the picture right.) I haven’t tested it with a lot of music yet but the scores I’ve tried so far have been great. MusicXml export looks great too. ( I am avoiding checking the box for lyrics since that seems to really complicate things and reduce accuracy.) Amazing. Show more

Opened up the app cause the idea seemed great for tempo and how certain notes should be played. I'm a complete beginner but wanted to know how to sight read. Went to open the tab in my files, and it wouldn't load. Just straight up greyed out. I thought, "that's weird, I'll just close out the app and open it back up." So I did that. No change. Tried to take photos of the tab as well, only to have them fail. I do wish there were other options such as Google drive or Dropbox import so that I could try out other methods, but in the same breath that shouldn't be a problem to begin with. Haven't reached out to support yet, which is why it's 3 stars instead of 1. Will update once they get back to me I guess. Show more

I searched high and low to find an app or software that could convert my pdf scores into musicxml files without shelling out hundreds of dollars. I came across playscore thought I hit the jack pot. If it didn’t crash a lot or force me to decipher parts on Sibelius out of jumbled heap of notes and articulations, I would give this app a higher rating. Keep working out the kinks please. Show more
