Great app!!

I’ve bought both apps and for some reason only Atom 2 shows in my app settings. I can still use the app with no issues. Is this unusual or is it something In the settings that would cause it ? Show more

I love this app, been a great addition to my iOS music lineup. However, I just purchased it last week, March 9th 2021, and now there is a new version Atom 2. May I please have a refund? I am going to immediately buy Atom 2. Show more

Please fix this app so that it will be able to record onto playlist in beatmaker 3 there is no record to track button so when you place notes inside the piano roll and hit record it doesn’t go into the playlist or even record pls fix this ? Show more

This app is great for live recording and looping midi and I use it all the time! However! As someone who uses it all the time I’ve settled on a few things that, if the dev wanted to include in a future update, would make it even better imo: 1) the ability to zoom X and Y axes independently. Editing a short piece with a wide interval range, or a long piece with a narrow one, can be pretty frustrating without it. 2) add automation for the “loop record” button—it would be great if I could map this to a controller in AUM, as well as the play/stop button 3) a little more contrast between rows on the roll— just visually, it’s hard to be sure which note you’re inputting sometimes Other than that I really do love it. I started to dabble in AUM after watching a few tutorials and couldn’t understand how it was a good way to sketch music. After I found this app, it’s a workflow changer. Simply recommend this apart of anyone’s toolbox honestly. One request for the developer, would be if you could add keyboard support? CMD+Z and DEL keys would be awesome in helping to sketch out ideas. Thank you for building this. Show more

I had some initial hiccups but I stuck with it and it’s pretty smooth now. Makes good use of touch gestures. It seems to encourage you more to play something in to get started whereas I am looking to get something drawn in quickly to get started. It’s a little hard to navigate around the octaves and measures, especially when there’s no notes recorded in there yet. Anyway, people who like playing stuff in will like it more I think. Still giving four stars because it’s a very well done app and really takes AUM to a new level for many users. Just not quite tailored to my workflow. Show more

First off, this app is great! Neat timing options, etc. However, it has some real flaws (especially with MIDI) which need to be addressed. However, after emailing the developer and asking questions on YouTube, there has been no answer. I really like this app but it would be useful if there was an "export midi file" option.

Nice app just need a bit of swing, and automation.. yeah Have it record MPE movements .

I love this app the ability to see other notes while editing midi is excacty what I was looking for. This app just needs ability to import+paste midi files. I’m actually surprised its not incorporated already considering how feature rich the app is. I hope the Developer adds this very soon. Also a library to store and reuse MIDI files. Show more

Forgot in AUM you have to control Atom from it’s transport mechanism.

Beautiful app, simple and well-designed. But it appears that there’s no way to change the MIDI output channel from Channel 1. This is a fundamental oversight for an AU plugin intended for making music in 2019. Hopefully this can be added, but as-is, this is a serious limitation that I’m a bit surprised is an issue. There’s also an arbitrary 40-bar limit. I’ve also found that if you leave it open long enough, all instances of the plugin will crash. The quest for a decent standalone piano roll AU continues...
