World Synth is an fantastic app that I really enjoy working with - except for one (fatal) flaw: Some of my installed sound packs are missing. This is the second time I have had to re-install World Synth in an attempt to restore missing sound packs that I paid for; to no avail; they’re still missing, and even my backups don’t work. In addition, one of my most used sound packs, ‘Oriental’ is not just missing in the app- it’s not even listed in the Store any longer. The developer won’t respond to me, either. This is crazy, and I feel ripped off. This is an unacceptable way to treat a customer; especially one like me who really loves this synth. Show more

I’ve used this for a while, but now whenever I use it in GarageBand, it tells me to install it even though I already have it installed. Did I do something wrong? I even tried reinstalling it. Show more

You probably know what I’m about to say. GarageBand exports silent, yadayadayada. This issue has occurred again. We ask you to please fix it.

Has potential to be a great Auv3 I had a problem with midi not turning into audio just flat line when I export. Has a couple nice sounding tones I could see this being a nice tool in the near future. Show more

You fixed it, but now it doesn’t work again. When I export a song in garage band, none of the sound fonts export with it.

i loved it, till it kept crashing, i redownloaded it but it wouldnt let me download it again edit: i restarted my device and it worked.

This program has helped me a lot with making music in GarageBand, and I couldn’t be more grateful for it. However, I’ve been having problems with it recently. Whenever I export my songs, the tracks with the World Synth don’t export with it. While there are workarounds with the recording feature, it is a bit tedious and inconvenient. Hopefully this can be fixed in the future. Show more

The developer purports to have a wide range of world instruments. You have to buy a specific “pack” to get the instruments or a certain area or region. HOWEVER….. the instruments you get are never listed ANYWHERE. It’s like a mystery. If you’re knowledgeable about the instruments in that country or region; you know exactly what you want. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY….. for example; the Oriental Pack has ‘Confident Brass’ and ‘Fluffy Accordion’. REALLY? I lived in China and I can tell you, accordions are not an Oriental Instrument. Dear Developer - please list each and every instrument you get with the packs…. and quit duplicating stuff to rip off your customers. ……. The Silk Road Pack is TERRIBLE…. the GuZheng sounds like a piano. The ErHu sounds like a….. are you ready….. different piano. Show more

I downloaded an sf2 file but for some reason, when i hit import, the sf2 file doesn’t appear on any of the folders that i set it in, i feel as if this is a glitch or if i am not doing it right. Show more

App is very cool, but missing so much! Afropop, soca, hiplife, Naija, etc. Maybe I’m missing where to find them, but feels like I’ve looked everywhere.

I love this app. It is very useful for music production and using soundfont files, but the latest update messed up GarageBand for me. It now plays every sound I assign to it on every track that belongs to it. Is there any way to fix this? Because all my songs are now broken... Show more
