    accurate sounds
This is the best app I found. I like tuning to a sound, and this app plays accurate sounds in octaves 1-6 with a few instrument options. The piano option sounds exactly like my digital piano. The guitar option works well for my harp. The app has no problem connecting to my bluetooth speaker. The chromatic tuner option seems accurate too. Show more

    Singing bowl tested
Worked great! I knew my new glass singing bowl claimed to be the note of G and set at the HZ for the throat chakra 409 hz. This app proved that is true! Show more

    Awesome app
Awesome app. I would love to seee a function to play notes in a linear format rather than a circle.

    Not dependable lately
Why does it listen to one note and freeze? I have to wait for it to decide it wants to work again before I can continue tuning. I’ve had this app a long time and it’s been a true blue tool, but recently it’s not been so great. Sorry guys. Update: thought I’d see if purchasing the no ad version would make a difference. It absolutely did. Without the ads, the program works flawlessly. I don’t think that’s how it was intended to be, but after using it this long and it continues to work, I have no problem paying 1.99. Great tuner for my Kalimba!
Easily tuned my Kalimba using the Chromatic tuner! Here’s how to tune a 17 key Wood Acoustic Kalimba in C: You’ll need a tuning hammer or a pencil. Start with the Middle Key, pluck it and you should get C4. If it reads too high, as in C# or D, lightly tap the top edge of the key with the flat end of you hammer. If it reads too low, as in B, or Bb, lightly tap the bottom edge up with the flat end of your hammer (or you can use the side of a pencil if you don’t have a hammer) Then pluck it again to test where it is. Keep tapping up and down until you hear the right note. C/1 = C4 C/1*= C5 C/1**= C6 Show more

Has invisible IAP buttons in the app! Careful
If you tap on “Create New” in instrument tuning you’ll get an unlabelled button that tries to charge you two bucks - so…yeah.

    Scam
They don’t tell you until you purchase that you will be getting adverts unless you upgrade. Then the upgrade doesn’t even work. I deleted the app but am out $1.99. I bet they really make a lot of money off scamming people. Show more

    Good Tuner
For the most part works rather well. Freezes up a bit sometimes and environment needs to completely quiet to get best readings.

I love this app sooooo much!!!!
It is free and really good buy it now. I feel like an add but it’s really accurate in my opinion and works well on my phone and iPad. I also only have the free version. There is a paid version but the free is just fine on its own. Highly recommend for bassists. Show more

    Gimme a C
Brass transposing instruments need an open tuning first to adjust the first note then other notes to tune the valves

It’s okay- pretty good for tuning (obviously lol)
Four stars because I use it pretty regularly, only because I practice singing. I’m getting less and less tone deaf whenever i use it :) I’ve been using this app a lot and not really any ads- didn’t even pay for anything. The only ads I remember are the ones saying: Hey if you want the instrumentative thing you have to download another app- or if you want the metronome thing you also have to also download another app- (I probably wouldn’t use those often) but you can just tune instruments or your voice pretty well. (You can even hear the note and then try to sing, and there’s also a pretty precise thing where it will tell you exactly how much higher or lower you need to play the note) I like it a lot- if you need any tuning you should definitely use this app :) (also btw you might need to actually select the instrument that you want to tune) Show more

    Doesn’t Work ‘Here’
Well, not too much to say... Not novices here. Former professional musician who’s been tuning instruments for over 25 years. This tuner is simply ‘wrong’. It just doesn’t register the correct notes being played. Tried working with it on two different stringed instruments and three different wind instruments. The notes being played (regardless of being sharp or flat) simply don’t correspond to the notes being displayed on the tuner. Sorry to say, this one just isn’t worth our time. There are excellently precise tuners (apps) available that will not let you down. If your goal is to actually be ‘in tune’, you’d be much better off with one of those. Perhaps the developer of this app should bring it back to the virtual drawing board and do a bit of fine ‘tuning’ before re-releasing it. Thank you and good luck. Show more

    Humming with the sine wave
I am actually using the tuner to tune my singing. I set it to play a note using the sine wave function, I can hum or sing and hear the beats. If I get no beats, I know I am spot on the note. Show more

    Piano pitch check
I am a piano technician and I love to check the overall pitch of just about any piano I pass during my day. This app is quite good at measuring the relative pitch of A-4. My only complaint is that the app is subject to outside noise. It is not selective enough at singling out noise. But overall I am enjoying this app. Peter Place Certified piano technician. Show more

    The sensitivity
You can reduce sensitivity of the microphone to have noise cancellation, I like it so much because it has accurate tuners and noise cancellation. I hope you like this review! Sincerely, Athan Chew. Show more
