Love the amp (have three - two 40’s one for each house and one Mini) and the app controls. I have downloaded many tones, and I have created and uploaded many myself. So I have a lot of tones in my app. Basically one specialized tone for each song that I play named for that song. So that creates an organization issue. A victim of its own success. The tones in my app are in the order downloaded or created, with no ability to sort in any other way. As time goes on tones are harder and harder to find quickly. In the Tone Cloud you can do an alpha sort. So why not have that same function for tones in the app? Seems you already have the program. Should be an easy enhancement? Please!! Show more

every time i try to change my time it doesn’t change

there are a ton of really cool ideas in this product but is totally hindered by absolutely embarrassing software. I don’t know why companies refuse to make proper software but this is no exception. The android app doesn’t work at all, the iOS app can successfully sync a software amp setting to the hardware maybe 3/10 times. Seriously why even sell this product if you are going to underinvest in the software? Considering returning the whole amp. My suggestion would be to open source the firmware for this thing and let a community of developers build something actually good that will keep your product alive. By forcing users into the terrible app, you’re taking what would be an “every musician needs this tool” and dumbing it down to a gimmicky toy. Show more

Since I downloaded iOS 16, his app is problematic. Won’t load, save or preview new tones. Reinstalling app, resetting amp and redoing the firmware don’t help. I think there is a software bug that needs to be fixed. Show more

Great features for this newbie guitar player & her teen daughter. :-)

First off no one should be using this amp without the app. Without the app it’s just a decent little practice amp that’s pretty loud. With the app you’ve basically got a recording studio worth of gear and processing. And it goes way beyond that with tertiary features like playing along with YouTube videos or built-in chord charts for songs that you listen to from your own library. Finally, the tone cloud provides access to thousands of presets. Anyone can upload a preset to this cloud so they don’t all sound great. In fact some of them sound horrible. Overall output levels can vary from preset to preset. You might be playing one that’s not that loud and then switch to the next one and it’s blowing out your eardrums. But some of them sound fantastic and are truly inspiring to play through. The Hendrix gear pack is definitely worth the money if you’re into Jimi. These amps and pedals are without a doubt the best sounding ones that I’ve come across so far. Worth it for the extra 20 bucks. At the end of the day, I am having a blast with this thing. Show more

App won’t let you change tones any more?

For some reason when playing backtrack or song from YouTube and stopped/started multiple times it starts not letting me stop or start video anymore and have to restart the app. Happened multiple times in 3 days that i have amp so far Show more

The app worked well for a month, but since the last update, I can no longer change the parameters of tone presets. My Spark is connected in the app, but I can not switch on/off pedals or their parameters. Show more

The Spark is the perfect solution if you’re looking for a small practice amp. Great tones, great look, plenty of power and WOW what a great practice tool! Definitely a lot of bugs in the app. One particularly annoying one is that when you favorite a tone on the tonecloud, it rarely shows up in your “favorites”

No interest in using Dropbox. Please support the standard iPhone iCloud data saving method so we can move between any of our iDevices and have all our tones follow us. Thank you. Show more

Unless I’m overlooking it why not have a “battery life remaining” type of indicator? Probably staring me in the face but I’m not seeing one.

Why else do we mess with guitars and amps but for the joy it brings. This thing is a lot of fun. That’s it, fun. What else do you need?
