Visually amazing, UI needing some polishing
After being a faithful user of smartplayer even when it began to have more bugs, moving onto Loud was a dream come true. & its definitely a dream to look at when I have it open. From album view to artist view, there is honestly nothing i can complain about visually. The app creator nailed it. However, controls seem to be a lil wonky & after using smartplayer, there are a few things i notice that were key. 1) the volume control is gone now. As someone who adored having the swiping volume control, seeing it gone makes me sad. I do hope it returns but if not, I understand. 2) accessing the notif center or the iOS bottom center is slightly annoying due to it also affecting the Loud app, by either swiping away the Now Playing screen, or by swiping up the Now Playing screen when elsewhere in the app. 3) there are times when i click a song & it takes several clicks to get it to play. Its not a big deal but its a slight annoyance regardless. All in all, i'm extremely satisfied with paying for this app. Its worth every cent & with time, it'll reach the same levels of greatness its predecessor reached. Show more

    Two flaws
When I first open the app, I have to tap on a song three times before it starts playing... So it feels kinda slow. And it lacks the function to shuffle all the songs. Show more

    Beautiful UI.....but SmartPlayer is better.
Okay let's get to main reason I bought this app: because I want to scrobble EVERYTHING I listen to on Apple Music. I've been using SmartPlayer for a while but the UI is just okay. And that's where this app blows SP away. The UI is gorgeous. Apple Music themselves should take notes. However, I'll be going back to SP because Loud only scrobbles songs in your My Music library while SP also scrobbles songs outside of it and, more importantly, radio. If this app catches up and can scrobble all like SP, I will definitely give it five stars and go back to using it. But overall, very nice looking music player. Show more
