    Remembering my pianos
I’ve heard a lot of ads about this app and it said that it’s the greatest and easiest way to learn piano the fastest

It was my last hope. Until…
I wanted to play piano so bad. So I played with Simply Piano. Pricy subscription. I saw the reviews for this and they were good and said it was free. THEY WERE WRONG. It was my last hope to learn from here from those reviews. I tried learning, and the subscription came along just to learn to use two hands! So I deleted it. And at first I was so excited too! Until that. Show more

    Ehhh
It is a good app over all but when it say “play the C key with your right hand thumb” or something like that I press C, of course, then it says I was pressing a different key so I just let it slide and pressed play to go on and did the same thing for D and G so I have deleted the app and will be going back to learning off of YouTube videos ??this app is a little bit of a let down I saw ads and got really excited because I have been searching for a app to learn piano with for forever and I thought this was it but since the whole mixing up key thing I just quit and will keep searching Show more

Woke up to find my iPad could no longer use yousician
With no warning, yousician dropped iOS 12 support and blocked old app versions from even working. Thanks guys for the great user experience ?

    Doesn't work
I have my hands in the right spot because I don’t know no electric keyboard and my dad has taught me my hand placements and stuff but it just doesn’t recognize the different sounds of the keys like all play middle C and it thinks I’m playing one of the Black Keys (im 9 i don’t know the notes) I have my hand placement spray it just thinks I play the different keys I don’t even know how to really explain it but it just doesn’t recognize the different sounds of the keys so I had to literally take my fingers and just press every note to be able to get past the start so if I play every single note i’ll finally hit the one it recognizes is Midle c honestly I learn more from YouTube tutorials than this app because it doesn’t recognize the right notes (for Developers) please do something to improve some things so it recognizes the right notes thank you ❤️????? Needs a way to skip levels for advanced players
I want to start by saying that I used yousician to learn the Ukulele and really appreciated it! I was new to the Ukulele and am a much more confident player now. However, I have been playing piano for several years and just wanted an app that would help me expand my skills. This is not the one. Does the free version no longer exist? I couldn’t do anything but play the first song. Also, I couldn’t find a way to skip levels, so I was stuck playing Twinkle Twinkle on one hand, when I can play level 3-4 performance pieces. I’ll keep yousician for ukulele but won’t be using it for piano. Show more

    Piano
A little stressful but also super helpful.

    Great app
I am an adult re-learner of the piano. I have moved from basics to level 6 in about a year. There are some songs that I hate (Twinkle Twinkle Little Star - way too slow) songs that have grown on me (Call for the Spring but I'm still not fond of the vocal) The Duck Walk is challenging and fun. I made myself an Excel chart to track my "workout" progress. My goal is to develop reading fluency so this is helpful for charting my progress. Show more

    Fun until it wasn’t
It was fun, I learned stuff for free, then it makes me pay for lessons. I knew there was a catch. The only thing I could do for free was watch videos. Like seriously at least let me do some lessons. Don’t download this game it’s a waste of storage you can use on a good game. Show more

I did not pay money to be told halfway that I need to buy new iPad (it is quite old). Please show respect to your users.

    Good
I love this app and would have given it five stars but sadly after a little bit you have to pay money for the courses. It is really good though. I have made a lot of improvements that I haven’t made with other apps. Would highly suggest but, keep in mind after a little bit it does ask for money. Show more

The ball is the bane of my existence.
I was going to subscribe. I wanted to subscribe, but that ball! That stupid little moving ball!!! I cannot stress this enough. I HATE that stupid moving ball. HATE IT! I have played piano for years. I play by ear and can really play anything, Beethoven, Chopin, literally any melody, you name it, but I can’t read notes so I got this app in hopes to learn. Two hours told me it was never going to work. Considering that I play by ear, I am obviously a sound learner and not a sight learner, so it is altogether too much for me to concentrate on moving sheet music, colors, notes, the piano your playing, the piano on the screen, and that stupid, confusing, little, moving ball. It doesn’t even do what it’s supposed to do because I can’t even tell when it’s time to play the note from it. Every time I’ve got the rhythm down (by ear, not by the ball), that ball throws me all the way off! If there were any option to get rid of that ball, or any of the other elements, I would have subscribed in a heartbeat, but I will not subject myself to the torture of concentrating on that many moving things. Please create an option to edit what you see on the screen. Please! Show more

    Glitchy during songs
Often the app with glitch during a song and not read the notes you play.

It works well and I am actually learning...
Exactly what the title says, nothing but your devices microphone and a silent room is needed. I tried out Yousician cause of the utterly garbage SimplyPiano Ads that made me wish my cells would undergo death. Show more
