I was very excited when I found this app. I am someone who is always on the lookout for cheap on sale iTunes movies. I thought this app would have been perfect for me as it would have done all the work for me when it came to looking out for movie sales. Well I was very wrong. I’ve been on the lookout for the Harry Potter collection to go on sale, so I added the Harry Potter movies to my wish list. Well last night I was browsing through the discounted movies on iTunes because I was bored and sure enough, there was the Harry Potter movie collection on sale for $50, originally $80. The TunesGenie app did NOT notify me of the discounted price and I almost missed the sale thanks to their false advertising. Don’t trust this app. If there’s a movie you want for sale, you’re better off keeping an eye out yourself. Show more

I just came across this app today and love the idea! Is there a way to add alert tones to my wishlist? I tried searching both general and specific names but none appeared. I saw that including apps was against iTunes’ policy; is this in the same category? Otherwise, thank you for a great app! Show more

I thought this app was supposed send me a notification when things on my wish list went on sale. I just happened to go into the app and saw that a show I wanted went on sale. If I hadn’t gone into the app I wouldn’t have known. Also now that I’ve purchased the show I deleted it from my wish list. But every time I open the app back up the show is still there. I don’t know why it won’t delete. It’s a bit annoying. It’s still a decent app. At least I can easily look to see if items I want go on sale. Show more

Cool app! The preview images show “apps” as an option but the actual application does not. Bummer.

This app seems to tackle the tremendous job of tracking sales and price changes in the iTunes Store really well. It’s simple and intuitive, and offers functionality that everyone wishes iTunes had built-in. The latest update seems to have addressed the stability issues that I encountered when searching for titles. Now I look forward to getting that first notification that one of the items I wish to buy has gone on sale. It’s hard to weigh the value of this app if it proves to do that effectively. Show more

The premise of this app is great! However during my usage of this app, I encountered countless stability issues. Hoping to see this develop into something more usable.

Love this app for building my "wish list" and now (thank you!!) it includes iBooks and audio books!! The developer is very responsive and welcomes feedback - much appreciated!

Great to see this app to save some money and buying albums on iTunes. The developer states that more is to come. I'm looking forward to the ability to set a specific price threshold that triggers an alert. Show more
