Hi I’m wondering how u use Spotify kids. It says to subscribe and I don’t know how, I’m a 10 year old which means that I’m going to middle school this year. I really want have Spotify but my mom only allows the kids version. So I downloaded this and it said to subscribe.I have it on my Home Screen but it’s useless there. Im really hoping u can write how u can subscribe on the opening of Spotify kids. Thank you! Show more

What’s with these other reviews? I love this app. And some people have been rude about religion in other reviews. Love the fact we can play Christian music on this with songs from movies as well like ZOMBIES, Descendants, literary almost anything that’s appropriate for kids just wish we didn’t have to pay but I know that prices of anything won’t come down any time soon. So don’t be fooled by other reviews, this app is amazing! And to be clear this is coming from the kid not the parent. Show more

I can’t even log in bc u have to have a Spotify premium account. Sk I don’t even know what inside the app is like.

We added this for our 6yo to listen to music or stories for bedtime/long car rides etc. Pros: We appreciate the easy to navigate format, the clean search options, and themed playlists. He is enjoying trying out new music, and has found a few new favorites! Cons: This has the potential to be a fabulous kid friendly app but selection is very limited, and geared towards popular kids media. He really likes Lofi music and can’t access any, or his favorite kid story channels. This is a huge con for us and nearly makes the app useless. Spotify Kids was the only reason we upgraded to a family premium account, and I can’t justify the additional monthly cost with such a limited selection. From a subscriber POV this seems to have a simple fix: Parents should have the ability to create and share playlists from their account. Show more

I’m a big sister and I’m trying to set this up on my little sister iPad so she dose not have to use YouTube but it is asking if I have a Premium account but we do not even though we don’t and now I have to give nothing to her. Running iPadOS 15.3.1. When selecting user, loading icon appears and nothing else happens.

When I saw this in the App Store, I was quick to download it. So I did. So everything was normal, it was giving me an welcome.But then.. it asked me if I had an account. Since I just downloaded it. I obviously said no. So then it told me what I could get if I make an premium Spotify account. But it didn’t give me another option.And I tried EVERYTHING. If anyone could correct me and help me out, it would be great! Show more

Spotify kids is trash it’s a rip off of the real Spotify and it does nothing it program so differently has all trashy songs and even songs without curse words they don’t play and they’re not on there barely any songs are on there just of waste of storage trying to get it and it barely even works in the home screen so trashy if you play a song to play a song when it ends it goes over and over and over and over again it’s so annoying and it should have a hole professionally for someone like let’s say I searched up Taylor Swift it would not go to your profile I play a song it will keep going or it would play a song in my play a random like him I like Justin Bieber Show more

As others have stated, there are so many songs that could be on here but are not. Consequently, my kids want their own regular Spotify accounts. Spotify kids is great in theory, but a little more flexibility would be nice. I thought we could make playlists and share them to Spotify kids, but I don’t see that option anymore. I wish we could use one login for Spotify and Spotify kids so I could let me kids use either, depending on what kind of supervision I can provide at the time. Show more

I hate Spotify kids since the update is that you have to buy it. I mean like why did you do that? And also it has songs that are not on Spotify so can you just fix that? Show more

The selection here is terrible and doesn’t include a ton of wonderful kid friendly music. Worse, parents can’t choose to share content with their kids. Since my kid has a lot of music he likes that isn’t part of the Spotify Kids’ offering, his taste will continue to inject chaos into my own Spotify account’s recommendations. Take a page from YouTube’s book and allow parents to specifically share songs and playlists with their kids. Show more

The app is good but it has some problems. First, half the time, I can’t do search anything or click on playlists other than my liked songs playlist, even if the Wi-Fi is at 4 bars. Second, the app shows mostly Disney and pop music, and almost no rock, even though I know from when it plays on the radio there is no dark theme or cussing. There are only two twenty one pilots songs, 3 Green Day songs, and not a single gorillaz song. Bro the isn’t even one explicit twenty one pilots song! ?also add a shuffle button ?, and custom playlists, and make the shared playlist downloadable. I mean come on. If your worried people will think shuffle is to complex for little kids that the kid is stupid. Show more

its overall fine but it is lacking music.its all just disney and kidz bop and lots of kids like to listen to way more than that.BUT there's little 9 year olds complaining that there's no abcdefu or something ? like its called spotify KIDS ? if your parents wanted you to have an app without that kind of stuff then you probably shouldn't be listening to that anyways. like its SO crazy that spotify kids doesn't have dove cameron's boyfriend, emily ? its great that parents can add playlists from their account so points for that . but seriously it needs a wider selection of music and im not saying you need to add stuff like abcdefu or something but it needs more genres. if i were you i would just use a shared spotify account with restrictions or smth dont waste your time on this ☹️ Show more

I’m 11,and let’s just say I Stan K-pop!But when you go on the k-pop party you hung there is like barely anything that good.And when you press on Stray Kids there are literally three songs! The point is that we NEED more K-pop songs on here. Show more

In the year 2022, this app doesn’t have casting capabilities. The app content is fine. The parental controls allow you to create a shared playlist so any song not on the app you can share with the child account anyway. Good control. No problem there. I just can’t get over no casting. In the age of smart speakers and tvs, how do you not think of adding a casting feature? I’m honestly only writing this since parents have been asking for it since the app came out but it hasn’t been added. And I highly doubt it will ever at this point. But they’ll let the developer team know I’m sure! It’s so baffling. Genuinely, why not? I understand why Apple Music doesn’t allow casting. It’s a competitor. But the regular Spotify app has casting. We use the Spotify Kids app so we can have a personalized experience again. This seems like a huge wasted opportunity. Welp, back to the drawing board! The fact that you can’t turn album artwork off is a deal breaker. There’s way too many inappropriate covers out there that I don’t think young boys should be stumbling across. Show more
