This is a very cool app and does what it says, but really needs a sample import option. I get it that you want to sell your sound packs, but as a fellow sound designer, I’d much rather be using my own. Show more

I really wanted to like this app. I was getting into their lofi dirt app to until connectivity issues with Audiobus arose. On this app I am not getting an alert of poor WiFi connectivity and the new “restore purchases” button aren’t working. Not at all. So I have half of a pack. I don’t know what to expect here. I’ve not run into these particular issues elsewhere or the lack of a restore purchases button like how this started out. It still seems non functional when pressed. I want it to work seeing as I had a plan after reading the manuals. Just gonna write this off as another useless app that wasn’t tested fully or ready to hit the App Store yet. So disappointed when this happens. Show more

App crashed when launching the samples purchase feature

I love this romper sampler it’s simple and complex at the same time just pick a sound and start sampling & playing looks great feels great the work flow is so smooth and the sounds in stock are great and the store sounds are amazing and affordable a must have but this baby now !!! Show more

Solid app with a robust stock sample library with effects that sound great. My two biggest critiques worth a star each are: 1) Can’t use touch gesture to simply select slice start/end point, but have to use a linear fader with wild sensitivity. 2) Sample packs in store do not indicate how many are included. I purchased one for .99 to find out- It had just 6 in total. True, quality over quantity, but more information is needed to inform. Show more

Really enjoying this app . I’m new to chopping samples and this helps me understand the process a lot better than doing it on my own. Sounds great and is well laid out ,works well in BeatMaker 3 and AUM . Plus supporting some good folks. Price is very affordable and the packs are reasonably priced too . As a user of a lot of their past products on my iPad , in Maschine & the MPC software they always deliver and this time is no different. This is recommended for anybody that likes making music on the iPad and looking for something new to create with. Show more

I’m not all the way warmed up to it yet...compared to samplers like virsyn’s slice Edit 6-18-2020: It’s cool and workable. It didn’t immediately respond how I expected but now that I know how it responds, I have fun with it. Its compatibility with other music production apps makes it a five star tool. Show more

Bought all in app sound packs. Only 6 show up in my load list. Shows in the App Store that I paid for them. But on the app itself; they are still lit as if I didn’t. $$$!? Other than that dope idea. Re-rated!. After a work around of “rebuying” packs in app- it said they were already purchased- would I like to do so again for free. Repurchased- at no cost and then they showed up in menu. Things that will make this five stars: - ability to import user samples - snap to zero crossing with moving chop/loop points - pinch and zoom waveform - reduce wasted space left of keyboard (more keys when in 1 octave view) Bonus: more effects/resampling. Great start! ??? Show more

This app is dope for any genre of music, specially lofi and boom bap! Made a fire beat with it within 5 min of purchase! This gives you that ASR 10 feel and I love it. Would love the ability to import samples, but I know MSXII will provide updates! They are 3 for 3! You know when you search the App Store, looking for a music production app that you didn’t know you absolutely NEEDED, well, this is that ONE. Truly a samplers dream, and I’m not exaggerating. MSXii Sound Design has been making sound design incredibly fun, and this app is no exception. Chomplr packs a punch, preloaded with incredible sounds and amazingly easy process to sketch ideas out, and I know I’m only scratching the surface. I’ve been working with this for a few minutes and it’s already amazing. The Lori goodness to the chopping ability make this a great tool to incorporate into my workflow.
