Ive been playing guitar for 7 years now, and just today downloaded this app. The layout is great, the idea and execution is absolutely wonderful, but. Ive been playing for a long time now. I know the basics with chords and stuff like that. Ive been wanting to get some extra practice to start reading and playing tabs better, to switch from acoustic to electric. But, its starting me at the basics, at level one, and i cant seem to move any higher manually. Id rather not have to go through all of these levels just to be able to learn what i actually need to learn. Kinda wish there was a way i could fix this. Other than that, amazing app. Show more

I was trying to play your second lesson and tune my guitar but you almost broke my string on my guitar so I’m never going to use this app again and I just hate that you guys would even do you know do that I am super mad and I am never going to have anything to do with this anymore Show more

Hey I just got this app used it for 10 minutes and I love it

Hi I’m a new user I just wanna say that this app is very frustrating and it’s $15 and every time I play the right notes it starts me over from the beginning and It glitches, A LOT. If you want to download this app this is a warning for you. If you ignore it it’s your fault not mine. I just wanna say that this app requires a subscription after you complete the course. I got this app to surprise my mom that I can play the guitar but I am like 13 and broke so I have no money and I get to the song and it said it had to pay money for it and the App Store didn’t say the little in app purchases und the get button so I got and now I have done everything but yet nothing I don’t understand why??? So I was having a good time at first but then I get to the tuning and it keeps saying my E note is too high no matter what. So I use my physical tuner and play several times and it says my note is correct. But I can’t skip the lesson so I can’t continue onto a lesson I actually need until the tuner says I’m correct. I even tried pulling up the specific on YouTube and playing it into my mic and it still said too high. I can’t get past the tuning and can’t skip when I don’t need a part of the lesson so I’m probably just gonna find another app Show more

I was liking the app for a big until I finally was able to play the song and when I was getting ready to play it. It wanted me to pay for a subscription and it wouldn't let me do anything else unless I paid for it I don't recommend unless your willing to pay the subscription. Show more

I’ve Never played a guitar ? before in my life. Total noob. I didn’t know what the strings were labeled, what a fret was, and certainly didn’t know how to play any chords. But this app takes ya through each step and explains everything you need to know. The presenters that give the tutorials are friendly, which makes it feel more comfortable and less intimidating to learn something utterly new. ? I highly recommend!! Show more

I’m a new user to simply guitar and when I got to frets it’s not picking up my chords.I keep tuning my guitar but nothing helps but when I talk, my dog barks, or I play other chords it gives me the green check mark.And I get frustrated because I can’t learn when it doesn’t pick up, please do something about this.
