    A good utility, but could be improved
    I’m using this app with the Jamstik Studio MIDI Guitar. The app serves its purpose to adjust settings, but the interface could be improved. Forced landscape orientation is really awkward, especially if you’re switching apps on the phone. It also inexplicably switches to portrait on the Edit Profile screen. It’d be nice to have a faster way to switch midi channels, like the shortcuts common on many midi keyboards. The other midi settings with -/+ adjustment work well. I don’t use the app for the learning/practice portion, so I can’t comment on it. Show more

    No sign on with e-mail
    Choices to sign on are “sign on with Google”, “sign on with Facebook”, “sign on with Apple”. No. The play jamstick website as a “sign on with e-mail”. I already have an account there. (Kickstarter backer, here.) Seemingly no way to use it. Since the app does not allow you to use it without signing on, and won’t let you use an account you already have, it is useless. Show more

    Promising but buggy
    Seems like this could be a useful app but I’m trying to learn basic chords and the app is stuck on the first chord (em) - I’m playing it fine but I can’t progress to another chord. Show more
