I really like the transitions hook has. The design is really easy to navigate too. I can spend hours with this app!

I've had a ton of fun using Hook. It has so many features and was pretty easy to pick up. The sound combinations are endless because I've been getting sound packs and samples from AudioCopy. Great stuff! Show more

Not only does this app have the worst sound quality but you can't do anything with it. It's a piece of garbage. Don't waste your time buying this.

I can't believe this app is so cheap. It is a full-featured mashup/ dj daw on my iPhone. I can grab a hook out of iTunes or Spotify in about 10 seconds. And the nonlinear transition/drop tool is a wild idea. 5 stars! Show more

I really like how Hook integrates with AudioCopy's sound packs and lays out the sounds easily. Hook has given me so much freedom in mixing different mediums. It's fun to use and I love the convenience of grabbing hooks from other songs in Spotify and iTunes. Thanks Retronyms!! Show more

I love this app, this app lets me explore, and expand my music creativity to the limits.

Not worth the effort if you're thinking about making your own samples because it crashes before you can get a sample made.

This app has amazing features. It gives you a ton of versatility and the best part is it's free. You do have to use your own sounds or buy sound packs though, which is a given. However, I noticed that this app will consistently use 50% or more of my battery, even without being opened in the entire day, and having background app refresh disabled. It is a deal breaker being that bad. It completely rips through my battery even when I don't use the app, at all. 5 stars if that issue didn't exist because that's insane. Show more

This is a great app, but I could only give it 3 stars because when loading a Spotify track it only loads a portion of the song.

This is exactly what I have been waiting for. I have played around with all kinds Dj Apps, and this is by far the best when it comes to customizing your music. Arranging, and making music just the way you want. It has it all. Just give it a try. Show more

Looks and sounds cool but I don't know what I'm doing

Hook comes with some built in sounds/loops for free. You can also sample some of your favorite tracks from Spotify or iTunes. There are a lot of transition/effect options too. It's a cool DJ app on your phone! Show more

Great app, and pairs really well with iMpc Pro. (iPad version) Would love to see three things: 1. Support for cell triggers via midi. To use a launch pad or the like. 2. Allowing users to set the key for a loop if meta data is not available. 3. Can monitor what's playing while recording a loop in order to create new loops/live looping. Keep it up!! Show more
