    Issue sending love to artists
I enjoy music, so I would’ve given this app 5 stars. It is an excellent concept, however, there are NUMEROUS issues that need to be dealt with in terms of glitches with the love/sticker panel being absent during showcase streams, or the love/sticker panel just not reacting to touch. This results in artists not receiving the votes they are due, and is ultimately UNFAIR. This app needs serious bug fixes, as it is creating inequity for artistes. Show more

Sessions came just in the nick of time
I am really enjoying sessions a great deal. This is perfect for me, as I am a singer. I am hoping that once I start my first live show I will be able to touch hearts around the world. For me, although I would love to do this for a living, I want to be able to touch other people as well. Thank you for creating such a wonderful app Tim, I am really enjoying it. This would be perfect seeing as finding jobs as a totally blind person can be very difficult. I finally decided that I would love to perform live for a living. This is something that I have always wanted to do, but I never got the opportunity to do so. Thank you for inventing such a great app and website. Show more

    Not recommended
This app is difficult to use and I feel ripped off. I just watched a “live” performance but it was all prerecorded, heavily produced, and unable to pause or played back after viewing. The connectivity between the app and other devices took 25min to set up and because there was no lobby streaming before the show I missed half of the live stream while finding a workaround to cast to a tv. The sessions for the show I paid for his evening are two hours apart from each other but each session is 50min which leaves a lot of downtime and I’m worried I’ll have the same connectivity issues when the next session starts because there isn’t a way to stay connected in the meantime. If some of the connectivity issues are fixed I might use this again but I’m upset I was expecting a live show and got a prerecorded vid I can’t ever see again after spending $150. Show more

All about the money, not the artists
This app seems fun at first. They make it seem like they care about the artist when in reality all they care about is making money. There are lots of good singers who go unnoticed because they aren’t given the chance for exposure while Sessions only promotes those who get lots of “Love” those already on top. The worst part is, some of these people on top aren’t even good singers. I’ve watched lots who are very talented and yet go unnoticed. So unfair. Show more

    Crew member with questions
The Session app is very fan unfriendly. I know it’s on a beta platform, that doesn’t offer much for the fan as much it does for the artists(mostly for the better equipped artists that they only promote). It only offers fans when the top artists from well known/developed Countries are scheduled to perform live on there, and who are currently playing live. The current updated app and format change did help the fan experience. To have a search bar, to browse through to find artists of your choice or go to pages on the site, to list artists by what Country their performing in and/or under music genre. Even have a Bio page for each artist including live performance clips from other places they have performed, and clips of past RECORDED live performance clips or whole shows on Sessions Live. Another way to interact with the artists. To increase the price and the format, where a fan has to pay $4.99 for each artist to watch, globally isn’t a way to build a fan base. Where $4.99 is a lot to pay in many Countries. It already has shown a major decline of viewership after they implemented it. Mostly noticed with the amateur artists that don’t have a way to attract fans prior to their shows. With a bio page they also can advertise themselves, since Sessions isn’t promoting two thirds of the artists(amateurs or lesser known professional artists from smaller or rural Countries). If not an even playing field for all the artists, then why not have a tier/level system for them based on fan base or amateur/professional status. 3 or 4 tier system where no monthly subscription for the bottom tier, a small monthly subscription of $2.99 to see anyone live in tier 3, the price would be a $4.99 to see anyone live in tier 2, and $4.99 for tier 1 per artist to join in their crew. These ideas I will never fly in the Corporate World, that is what Sessions Live are former Pandora people who left there because they didn’t like what it became, but are doing the same with Sessions. Profitability first at all cost, and the Consumer last(artists and the fans). Show more

    Love the app!
There’s a bit of a learning curve but as an up and coming artist during the pandemic, this service really fills the need. I get to perform live and get paid for it, all from the comfort of my home. ?? Show more

    Diggin it
Live music is to me one of the most fulfilling ways to connect with people. I love being an audience member in other people’s creative space. Diggin it.
