As a bassist, I have been searching for drum machine apps that double as true practice tools and compositional devices for a long time. In my opinion, many seem to fall into one of the two camps. Jazz drummer excels at both - all through a solid, intuitive, and extremely deep interface. It also integrates seamlessly with GarageBand for recording ideas. Worth every penny in my book.
