Wish it supported minor notes.

Because I can program my own lessons, I can follow a Udemy course I’m currently doing on my iPad which was intended for some other operating system/platform. Very nice.

Well this app does help me with a lot of times when I am practicing piano. It teaches me how to identify the notes

It’s really glitchy and I have to play the note more than once to get it to read it and it’s really frustrating. Otherwise it’s pretty good

Although this game has an amazing idea of teaching students how to learn notes (as a student using this app for years now), it's response to notes is garbage. I really feel bad writing this review, because it as always been my go-to piano practicing app, but I think it is time to point out the problems. Often times when I am playing notes correctly, it glitches. Sometimes, it gives me a couple of seconds penalty (even when I am playing the notes correctly and in the correct octave), while other times it just completely ignores me. Either way, the app is glitchy. Even though of it's defects, in the long run, it helps get the job done. Amazing concept and I really think it definitely hooks players. This app has cool themes, but it doesn’t recognize our electronic piano when we play the notes. We play them over and over again and sometimes it will register on the 5th or 6th time playing the note. Very disappointed I wasted my money on this app. Show more

It really great except it sometimes does not hear the notes

It is so fun

I teach music, and this app has been wonderful for my students. It’s a great way to warm up at the start of lessons or to break up activities. I love the level editor! It allows you to choose the notes students are quizzed over. The ability to change themes on the home screen is also great! Students love to choose a theme before starting the game. I would love to see one featured added to this app: moveable clef support. I have some students who need to learn tenor clef and alto clef, and I would love to be able to use this app with them! I bought this app as a requirement for my piano and the mic or audio doesn’t work as well as I would like it too!! I started humming with the tune as I play but apparently that screws it up so now I get confused and even when I am not playing it still sometimes won’t listen so if there was a way to fix that, please let me know!!? I really like the idea of a mic to play along with the notes. I’m not sure if I missed it, but I don’t think this app has more than 2 ledger lines on the staffs. It would be really helpful if there was a setting to add all the ledger lines you would see on an 88-key piano to the custom games. I’ll update to 5 stars if this gets added. Show more

It won’t listen to my piano! I have to hit the same key over and over to get it to recognize it! Great concept, but there are some kinks that need to be worked out.? Show more

This app is amazing and helps a lot of kids grow. But one thing is bothering me, sometimes the app doesn’t read the notes on the piano and makes some kids mad and angry. But I will hive this app a 4.5 out of 5. Show more
