This app simply doesn't work with the Fives. I also tried using the updater which has destroyed the sound of my speakers. Maybe permanently. They were amazing speakers before this "update" Show more

The app functions decently well. I like the equalizer function and it’s ability to save a custom setting. The app in general is laggy to use and sometimes it won’t respond to changing the input. The bigger problem is that the most recent update prevents my Fives from outputting sound through any channel. Line-in, Aux, and Bluetooth stopped outputting sound. Bluetooth connects properly but just doesn’t play any sound. I fixed the problem by manually updating through the usb service port and deleting the Fives connect app so it doesn’t automatically update and break my speakers. I imagine they’ll eventually fix the update but I probably won’t install the app again just for the equalizer. I don’t want to have to worry about an update bricking my speakers. Show more

This is the only Bluetooth app that I have that needs to reconnect every time I go away from the app and back to it. I don’t mean closing and reopening it - that is expected. Not only that it seems to check for updates each time as well. This is very annoying. Should be a fairly easy fix in my opinion and would make it substantially better. Show more

My Klipsch The Fives speakers were working until I updated the app today. Now there’s no sound coming out. Tried multiple ways sources. Looks like I’ll be doing a factory reset. Lesson learned not to download the latest app. Cant trust it not to be broken again. Show more

if i could connect it might be ok. i have reset, uninstalled and installed every aspect of this app, bluetooth and speaker. the app won’t connect!

I installed the other Klipsch Fives Updater app, followed the instructions and it said it was installed. Im able to adjust EQ in the app but it doesn’t affect the speakers at all. Im also not able to control volume through the app. Help? Show more

Klipsch reputation resonated with top quality audio and technology. Unfortunately their software is worse than a musty basement. Without software the new hardware is just average.

I would really appreciate if the earphones don’t disconnect each time I leave the app! It takes quite sometime to recognize the connection and show settings n everything!

This app doesn’t even have the ability to turn on/off the speakers…nuff said!!!

The added features of the app is nice to have. The night mode is useful since i live in an apartment. I wish the remote had the night mode button because its painful to open the app. It takes 10 seconds to load the app and connect and there’s an connection error but it connects anyways. Bug fixes and more features would be nice. Suggestions: - It would be useful for a low mid and high mid eq slider. - Faster blue tooth connection - “Getting latest data is slow” - Add wifi dongle connection to usb port Show more

Whoops! (you’ll understand) This app is half-baked. Features are nice, but it loses Bluetooth pairing with my phone after I close the app. A complicated pairing process is needed after that. Every time. Show more

Not only does the app take years to detect the speakers, it would then throw the "whoops" false-positive all the time. Hopefully, a bug fix version will be released soon.

I bought the Cinema 800 with the understanding I’d have EQ control within the Klipsch Connect app. The EQ feature is missing entirely along with the “virtual remote” that they state would be available in the app as well. New iPhone. New Fives. Good connection. I’m tired of stuff not working. The Fives go back to Costco tomorrow.

At first it worked just fine. After sometime some parts of the app wouldn’t update through the app. Also the output mode used to show whether the sound was Dolby atmos or pcm, now it just says n/a. Please fix as it can be a good app Show more

I’ve been attempting to complete the setup of my new 800 cinema soundbar/subwoofer for a couple days, however the app keeps giving an error. The speakers are right next to my phone, and the app finds them, giving the option to “Set Up”. However when I click the setup button, the app says “connecting” then an error pops up: “The operation couldn’t be completed. (RxBluetoothKit.BluetoothError error 3)”. Show more

How about instead of telling people you’re sorry and making them delete the device and uninstall the app, you just make an app that works? Is that too much to ask of the reputable Klipsch? With the price of these headphones I expected more. Show more

So I pretty much downloaded an app for a pdf of the instructions and to register the speakers. All the advertised junk were nonexistent and the app is pretty useless. Just shows a picture of the speakers and a bunch of how to crap which is all in the instructions. I wasted 5 minutes of my life to this all and review. Stupid app, great speakers though. Show more

I keep deleting and re adding it. It keeps telling me I need to add a peripheral id. No clue what this is. Ugh. Super frustrating.
