I’ve seen a few bad reviews with connection issues using the pathfinder 4, but I just bought a pathfinder 280 and was playing music through Bluetooth when I downloaded the app and then was able to easily connect and add the speaker and control it while still playing music. App seems to work fine and speaker sounds great! Show more

Why is precise location required? Deleted.

It would be great to have a way to view the battery percentage either on the speaker or thru the app. Also, being able to power off/on from the app.

This app requires location information to connect to a Bluetooth speaker. Will be returning immediately. Terrible idea !!!!!

Plane and simple it does not work past opening screen

This app is garbage, does not work unless high accuracy location permission is granted. There is no need for this for any speaker functionality. It is a straight up invasion of privacy. Deleting after i finish writing the review. Won’t buy another Ion device, either. Speaker works ok without the app but the radio controls without the app are completely brain dead. Show more

App is pretty useless if can’t connect to the speakers correctly. I have 2 Pathfinder 4’s and I can have my phone either 2inches or 20 feet away from speaker and it can’t connect. What a crappy app interface. I can’t believe they would roll this crappy app for such good speakers Show more

App requires location access to control a speakers. Not only location but high accuracy location so it’s grabbing WiFi info as well as GPS info.

Please add an option to turn the speaker on/off via the app. It is a hassle to do so manually. Thank you!

it’s reliable. only complaint is that you can’t set color to solid on the ion pa supreme!
