Had two buy it on my computer even tho i paided for the pro version on my phone. other then that great tool.

It is too heavy and buggy. I had to wait 10 seconds writing every words as the app frozen consistently.

Best app to write some fire raps

I like the concept, but on my laptop the app seems to slow to an absolute crawl the longer that I have it open and running. If I cmd tab to another program and come back sometimes it hangs up altogether. The rhyme dictionary integration is good, it would be great if the spell check worked more smoothly and if the thesaurus could maybe be open next to the list of rhmes. That would be pretty cool. I love the concept of the app, and I do use it fairly often, but the typing is laggy and sometimes it freezes up for a few words.

I enjoy the space on here I have to type out my lyrics. It allows for my words to flow out a whole lot better oppsed to writing them down on paper. The Rhyming word bank is cool but it would be even cooler and maybe helpful if you guys could generate a" Rhyming Phrase" bank as well for inspiartion purposes. Something that you kind of see on lyric generator but makes more sense. Just a suggestion. For the most part, I'm enjoying the app so far. Keep up the good work! Show more

I always struggled with coming up with rhyming synonyms but with Rhymer's Block my mental blocks have been broken! My creativity is at an all time high because the stress of struggling with coming up with new and unique rhymes is gone! The app itself could stand to be improved for speed and reliability for Mac Big Sur. It has crashed on more than one occasion, and for this reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5, because crashes disrupt my flow and frustrate me! I am confident however, that the developers will continue to improve it so I will be patient and work through the occasional glitches. Show more

Before I found Rhymer's Block, I was trying to write a couple poems/songs using an online Thesaurus and a few other tools. Also, I was manually counting syllables. I thought there must be a better way—and of all the apps I tried, Rhymer's Block came out on top. Two of my favorite features are the dynamic list of words that sound like (not just spelled like) the selected word, and the live update of the selected sentence's syllable count. I didn't realize how helpful 'The Block' community feature would be until I tried it. It gives you the ability to share your work with others,. You can give and receive 'Respect' and comments on your work (if you want). Well implemented. Also, I had some questions for the developer and he responded quickly and patiently until my issue was fixed. Keep up the great work. I do just have one request: Please provide complete Apple Sign-In support for each platform (iOS, iPadOS, and macOS). I think the added security and privacy is appropriate for the social features of this great app. Show more

Color coding the rhymes is the draw here. Syllable count is very nice. They need to improve the rhyme dictionary. Glad they made a Mac OS version.

This has been a game-changer for me in my writing. Notably, it highlights rhymes to make it easier to form and follow your own patterns. But the best part is probably the rhyming suggestions. As you type, a huge list of viable rhymes will appear. If you're ever struggling to know what word or phrase to put next, this is the app for you! Show more

This app is tight. It helps me get these rhymes out. With fast internet, you bet, it never times out. I love that you can link up a track in SoundCloud. Kids cheer when they hear me rapping out loud. The Catechlysm dev team is no doubt proud. – They wrote the code, they get the shout out. When I have a minute to think on my own, I tap in the app that's linked on my phone. And if I open up my laptop to check it, the lines pop up in like half a second. And when my mind can't seem to find direction, I check the side bar for a rhyme suggestion. But I'm the best when - I don't abuse it. Check the next feature. Let's introduce it. It's called The Block and you can use it for feedback on the raps that you spit. I admit, I haven't ever posted my **** but the comments and community I see are legit. Now I don't think the font control is important but you can put your rhymes into folders to sort them. I like that. The features in this app earn it five stars. But I can name a few that it lacks - if I try hard. When I'm composing verse to be heard, I need a global search for keywords. So I get stuck — or even worse, beleaguered. Out of luck because there is no search feature. I paid five bucks to block advertisements so I was a little bit shocked and surprised when the app wants another seven bucks from me - as if the use of folders is a luxury. I hope you guys ain't thinking "Man, this dude's obnoxious." But I don't really need all of those useless options that you get when you unlock the pro bundle. Not to sound disgruntled. I'm usually so humble. But one more request: As these raps stack up, let's have the Mac keep track of back ups. Imagine my frustration, late night, I’m writing a rhyme at a time when my head’s enlightened. I’m fighting to stay awake and losing the battle. Consciousness unravels. I'm changing the channel. Locality shifts, becomes some kind of dope scene. Reality hits. My thumb's still on the phone screen. Everything is gone. - I fear I deleted an entire song that was nearly completed. A glimmer of hope, but then that stops for certain 'cause I know the changes flow to the laptop version. A loud smack as palm goes to forehead. Should have turned on airplane mode before bed. But if it saved the files on my hard drive, I could then revive them from the archive. Anyway, just a few ideas for you. I guess it's time that I conclude my review. Show more

I created an account on my iPhone with Facebook, and that I bought it on MacOS, I can't seem to log in through Facebook. I press the "Log In with Facebook" button and the login page just closes out. Show more
