App is a great help, especially in improving timing and pitch. Played trumpet a year or two in high school. Now, at 83, I'm trying to pick it back up for my own enjoyment. So far, I'm only using the free portion but as I hopefully progress I'll consider the premium version. Show more

I’m an old band geek and wanted to start playing again. This app is great!

This app will for sure help me in my band classes! I already learned so many new notes and it helps me improve a lot. There’s one small problem, it won’t tell me what I’m doing wrong and I kind of need to know so I can improve from my mistake(s) and I also need tips when playing the trumpet January 12: im back again and it’s great I also figured out why I keep get 40 points! It was because I was using trumpet c (on the app) instead of trumpet Bb (something like that) lol other than that it’s awesome I would 100% recommend Show more

I tried to use the free app and could only Progress to playing “F” in whole and half notes. Additional modes were grayed out. Not much of a sample to evaluate

I don’t know if it’s just me but this app is very confusing! I have no idea how to tune my trumpet and it starts off a little hard. Other than that, it’s not too shabby. Show more

This is the best app for me to play my trumpet i love this app

I was very excited about the app when I first got it, and it has helped me a lot although I have been fighting through bugs the entire time. First the app wouldn’t play the songs, but that’s ok. Next it wouldn’t play any sound at all, including the metronome, but that’s ok to I guess. Now it just continuously crashes every time I try to open. I’ve tried reinstalling server all times and it’s the same. I paid for the pro version and this is what I get. EDIT just a few days after I posted this review, tonestro put out an update that completely fixed every little problem I was having. Thank you so much, I’m so happy to have this app back working normally. It’s a great, fun way to practice and learn. Keep adding stuff and I’ll keep playing it! Show more

Lots of variety in music styles and proficiency levels. Very fun to play with a back-up band!

Seems to be a nice little extra add-on for my practice regimen.

I like the app but there’s a lot of things it can add to make it what I think would be one of the best music apps out there. I feel like It would be much better if it not just told you what you’re doing wrong, but how to fix it as well. I think a fingering chart would be awesome too. These two things make it less useful and a little annoying for beginners and people who have taken long breaks, given that you have to go look up how to fix what it said you’re playing wrong. I also ran into a problem when sometimes the yellow bar over the notes would move faster than the beat. Like I said, the app is good as it is but it could be so much more. Show more
