Wanted to check out virtual Burning Man. It’s $7.99 to get in, FYI. However, I keep getting a “Bag Load Error” every time I try and purchase a ticket. I’ve tried quitting the app, restarting, and even a hard restart. Hope you have better luck than I. Miss you dusty people! Show more

If you’re willing to pay....

I see a bunch of art but the feature to invite friends to join you doesn’t work. It generates your unique ID to use to invite others but when they key in the numbers, it “became” their unique ID numbers. I had tried multiple times. Also left a message in the info chat group but nobody provided info to use. Show more

It’s a cool way to see the playa. You can modify your donation but it charges that choice every time you open the app which I missed reading somewhere.

Does take a little exploring but seems to getting cooler and cooler each day. Well done.

The microphone feature has seemed to have lost some functionality with this update. Before the 9/4/20 update I was able to unmute and mute the microphone at anytime anywhere, but now it seems to be completely disabled at times remaining on mute. Hopefully it can be fixed to how it was before given that being able to talk to people was one of the best aspects of this experience. Show more

Maybe because I’ve been to the playa (2002-09), I am blown away by how close you got to taking me there from my recliner in Florida. Thank you so much!! I don’t go anymore because I love my dog too much to leave him and I miss Burning Man so much each year. PLEASE offer this again for those of us that cannot get out there. Gliding along the deep playa, just me on my hoverboard, magically discovering amazing art, music and experiences I could never imagine myself. THANK YOU SO MUCH! A great take on burning man. This universe is kind of buggy and can lag really bad, to the point of crashing, but aside from those issues, it's quite beautiful and its fun to adventure out into the massive playa spaces. You can choose day or night as you hover around. The controls are simple. There are no instructions just like as if you went to burning man.... Radical self reliance. However, it is easy to figure out. The music and live video of DJs around the world is amazing! There are tons of stages and art that I'm sure I've not seen even half of what this universe has to offer. Yes, it is $7.99 and you can then donate to provide access for free to others... A fee i am happy to pay to help pay for the operation of the app. So anyway, get your headphones and start exploring. Kudos to the creators. It's a good part of the eight universes. Campenvy.org has playa world which is also as fun and has fantastic music as well without the need to install or purchase an app, so check out that universe too. Show more

Look, Burning Man was built on the exact principle you’re violating. Burning Man is an experience, only charging when it needed to do so. If you have an experience to share, then do so! People will “donate” when and if the experience is worth donating to! Show more

Beautiful and so detailed, I am amazed this has been thrown together in the last few months. All the tech nerds came together and I thank them! I’ve chatted with people from all over the world using the mic. Exploring the playa feels as close as it could to reality. The graphics are stunning. Great start and lineups, but needs more people in the environment and better Avatar movement. High flying is a great hack that takes a while to figure out.

I miss going to the burn irl this app is a nice way to get to see home ... I’m really glad someone has taken the time and effort to put this all together and I hope that it stays live and active long after the end of the season preferably indefinitely.. all that said more updates would be nice along with an iPhone Vr headset compatibility option like with the google cardboard or Vr empires headset and controller .... love the app can’t wait to see what new improvements are in store. It made the whole app run infinitely slower. Can’t chat / Can’t hear any music at stages. Could be user error but I don’t think so

I miss the playa, and this app brings a bit of the Burning Man magic at a time we need it most! Being part of Reverbia, and getting a chance to perform was really special! I’m not a gamer, so it took some time to understand how to use the hoverboard. Thanks for undertaking such an ambitious project. Show more

Good effort on the 3D world, but largely misses the fundamental burning man experience: individual expression, serendipitous interactions, gifting, etc. Sometimes copying the real thing doesn’t translate, which is the case here. A fully new experience would need to be thought of to make it worthwhile. Definitely not worth the $. Show more

They have improve fast. Getting a great VR experience & the sound is phenomenal ????

If they can fix the bugs in time, this will be awesome however if it keeps crashing it’s going to be a fail.
