This app is very poorly made and several of the features do not work. Every time I click I the news icon nothing happens. The app is not optimized for any iPhone models past the iPhone X. That being said, this app is the greatest thing ever created and I would recommend it to all of my friends. Thank you Soulja boy... Show more

There were many missed opportunities for names such as “Souljagram”, “InstaBoyTellEm”, “Dracogram”, “The Tell‘em Gram” and many other options

As a member of the Soulja Army, I am truly blown away by this app. Instagram and Facebook had been down all day, and in typical Soulja Boy fashion, Soulja dropped in to save the day with his newly released social media platform titled “Soulja Official App” As soon as you open the app, Soulja Boys hit song “Crank Dat” begins to play, and will continue to do so after you close the app, a truly groundbreaking and innovative feature (something other applications like YouTube are simply unable to perform). The app immediately asks you if it can have access to your location, and I will tell you right now that if you don’t trust your location, as well as your life in Souljas hands then don’t even bother downloading this app, as you simply are not worthy. You are then asked if you would like to be apart of the mailing list with no further context, and I of course chose yes, hoping to receive a SouljaPackage™ one day in the mail. The app immediately presents you with all of its groundbreaking features (by the way, Soulja Boys top hits, such as the aforementioned “Crank Dat” and “Kiss Me Thru The Phone” continue to play in 30 second clips for as long as the app is open). The first of these features is SouljaMoji™, which is quite simply just Animoji but with Soulja Boys face, something that the general public had been clamoring Apple for for years. Soulja took initiative and took matters into his own hands in order to provide us with what we had been demanding. The next feature that is gifted to you by Soulja is the SouljaShop, which creates a streamlined process that allows you to buy SouljaMerch™ quickly and easily. The next 3 features just link you to Souljas music (this is probably my only complaint with the app, he should really add more than 3). But it is then that Soulja God bestows upon you the feature that renders all other messaging apps obsolete, SouljaChat™. Delete Messenger, delete Discord, and delete iMessage, as they are quite literally useless due to this innovative technical marvel. SouljaChat™ allows you to send messages to a public message board and allows anyone to see and reply to them, truly there is nothing else you could ask for from a messaging app. It is at this point that I would like to remind you that 30 second clips of all of Soulja Boys songs have been playing the entire time. I cannot stress this enough, as it is probably the greatest strength of this platform. After you have exited SouljaChat, there is still a plethora of other features to explore, including the Video Channel, which consists exclusively of videos made by and about Soulja Boy. It is only a matter of time before YouTube shuts down as a whole, as videos of Soulja Boy (the only thing people use YouTube for) can now be found here on Souljas official app. Then, you can view the Photo Galleries, which contains 2 folders. One is simply titled “Instagram” and contains one picture of Soulja Boy, while the other is titled “King Soulja” that contains 14 more pictures of this absolute god of a man. This feature has now rendered Instagram as obsolete, since Instagram was used solely for the purpose of looking at pictures of King Soulja, and now it is no longer needed as the Soulja App Official allows you to do so much more efficiently. The next 2 sections titled “Instagram” and “Social Media” links you to Soulja Boys Instagram, as well as giving you an easy means to like Soulja on Facebook and follow him on Twitter (I’m assuming these features will still remain after these platforms are inevitably shut down, simply to serve as a reminder of their ineffectiveness due to the release of Soulja App Official™). You are then given the option to sign up for the “Exclusive List” to get, and I quote, “exclusive updates and much more”. Given the fact that he was so descriptive about what being an Exclusive List Member would entail, coupled with my undying worship of Soulja Boy, I of course signed up for this immediately. Next is SouljaNews™. Opening SouljaNews™ leads to a message saying “Nothing found. Pull down to refresh”. While this might go over the heads of those who do not devote their lives to the one true Soulja God, we in the Soulja Army recognize that this is a use of complex symbolism by the intellectually superior Soulja, meaning that Soulja Boy rises above the media, and that there is no news on him because major news outlets simply do not know his next move. Truly astonishing. Next is the “Share” feature. Opening this leads to a screen with nothing but a button saying “Share” at the bottom of the screen. Clearly this needs no explanation, but is another groundbreaking feature nonetheless. Lastly, you are presented with the “Messages” feature that allows you to view anyone that has messaged you thru SouljaChat, along with the final feature known as App Info. App info simply lets you know to follow the developers on Twitter. This irked me slightly as I felt that Soulja was the one who put his heart and soul into this app, and that the developers were trying to gain publicity from his life’s work. Again, yes, the music is still playing, and you are also given the option from the main menu screen to control which SouljaSong™ is playing at that moment. All in all, after dominating the gaming industry with his innovative new console, the SouljaGame™, Soulja Boy has moved onto social media. It is quite simply only a matter of time until Soulja holds a complete monopoly over the social media industry, as this app is quite literally flawless. It is unknown what industry the ambitious Soulja Boy will dominate next, but this surely is not the last of his entrepreneurial endeavors. Praise Soulja. Show more
