Great app for live backing tracks
I have tried multiple apps for backing tracks my cover band uses and Multitracker beats them all for ease of use and user interface. Recommend!

    Great app for track playback
I’m using this app for live performance with two Bose S1 pro speakers. I really like the fact that I can set eq and compression for each track differently not just across the platform. When using the live view it is great for the sound person or the singer to control with ease. Thanks for a feature rich app and a great stable app. Show more

    Great app
I just found this a few days ago and I love it. I think it has a lot of great features. One of the best is the midi learn for the transport and volume. I am able to use a midi foot controller and an Icon icontrols controller. Works great! Show more

A couple add-ones from being perfect!

    Just one thing
Great program, replaces Mainstage for the most part . A bit of a learning curve and getting it to work properly with Onsong or Songbook took some work around overall a solid product But would be nice if effect buss extended to channels out . My over all mixes are already eq’d properly but it would be nice to eq and compress the overall output especially when using bluetooth to my bose speakers alleviating the need for a mixer But 5 stars anyway Show more

    Half of the answer!!!!
Using this app for my solo artist shows along with another app gives me everything I would use mainstage for. The learning curve on how to use this app was kinda big for me but once I saw what it could do I was determined to figure it out. The what I loves; being able to use multiple stems and each stem have its own controls and effects. The what I wishes; I wish reverb was an effect and I wish panning was possible. This is a BIG wish but I wish there was a mixer section that would elevate the need for AUM to be running. There is only one what I don’t like and that is at least on my iPad Air is that on the midi remote settings screen the learn button is not visible. If you rotate the iPad then you can see it(but I just learned this after doing several shows over the course of a few years that would have benefited from using my Irig BlueBoard. But now that I have that set up the way I wanted the app is even better. Show more

    Best Backing Track Player!!
Wonderful backing track player so far! Great features! Only gripe is developer was very responsive at first. No responses now.

Cannot get out of trial mode!
Downloading without any audio working does not help this app work! Beware of downloading this app is broken.

    Almost There
If this had panning and automation it would be the best app for this type application.

    Duo act
I use Multi-tracker in our duo’s act and it really simplify’s figuring out playlists for sets and in live mode let’s us play more music instead of talking in between songs. Absolutely love when adding to a playlist and in that mode to see how many minutes of songs you need for a hour or longer set. The only trouble I had was getting the outputs of Multi-tracker to coincide with the channels on my audio mixer with usb. Operator error not the app! Once I got that figured out it was clear sailing. But what Multi-tracker does the best at IMO is I have over a 100 songs loaded into Multi-tracker and we can play back to back nights at a venue without ever playing the same song twice two nights in around! Has got us many top paying gigs! Show more

The perfect app for running backing tracks
Multitracker has been the perfect app for running backing tracks. It has worked flawlessly through 30+ performances (since April 2021). As a solo performer (guitar/vocals), I create separate audio tracks for drums, bass, keys, guitars, backing vocals, and MIDI control tracks using Logic Pro; and perform using an XR18 mixer, powered speakers, in-ear monitors. Simultaneous audio/MIDI playback allows synchronized control of MIDI-enabled hardware including: DMX lighting controller, guitar multi-effects unit, and scene/setting/effects controls on my digital mixer. The built-in mixer, with EQ and compression, allows me to tweak the stem mix without having to go back to the source material. The “quick save” function makes to process simple. The ability to set to the minimum number of output busses displayed allows the setup of channel assignments without having to be connected to the mixer. FLAC support allows great audio quality while maintaining smaller file sizes. The Playlist Viewer is perfect for creating and managing set lists; and the Live Viewer is perfect for running the show (using a Logidy UMI3 MIDI foot switch for transport and position control). I really like the fact that app features a database/file consistency checker to ensure that all required files are in place. Bottom line: This app is one of those rare instances where a technology does everything it needs to do. Sure, all apps can evolve and improve over time; but, this one works really great right now. Fantastic for worship band
I’ve been using this app for a little over a year. It is very easy and straightforward to use. Provides the basics and is especially useful for music created and recorded on my own DAW. Love it! Show more

    Works great!
It does everything the documentation says it will do, and very well! I plan to use it for live performances. I researched several other apps in this category and settled on this one. I reached out to the developer with a couple of clarification questions, and his response was timely, helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this developer and this app. Show more

It doesn’t work on my iPad Air 4
Demo songs won’t even play. Just loud clicking. Control buttons in the app don’t respond. Junk unless they can fix it.

Essential app for cover bands using backing sequences
Great app but developer does not respond to emails. We create instrument and vox tracks for all tunes in our repertoire and import them into the Multitracker app for use in rehearsals and shows. Most of the time, with a new song, we first create the instrument tracks from midi files using Cubase and a Korg Pa4x, and output individual tracks to mp3s to import into Multitracker. For rehearsals, if the bass player, for example, can’t make a rehearsal, the session goes on without him. For shows, routing a click track from the app to the drummer allows us to use backing sequences extensively. The one thing we’d like to see is replication among band members much like in the BandHelper app, which we also rely on. Each band member can purchase Multitracker app, and while there is a way to sync up all band members’ Multitracker instance, it is an annoying and convoluted process. Replication changes/additions when you open the app would be really cool. Show more
