    Before use...
    Before I use this app, it said it is free unless you use pro version, but it says I have to register and all this other stuff, and I have been reading some other reviews and it says you have to pay. Is this app really free? Show more

    Nothing is free
    There’s a video of a guy playing E minor and that’s about it. Everything else costs extra. Better resources on YouTube.

    Good app
    Been playing for 4 years now and are learning how to piece together the scales needed to write my own music. So far this has been the most helpful thing as where to start. Thanks ! Show more

    Great learning tool
    I started using Fretello a few months ago. Pros- I really like that it allows you to customize your lessons based on the style of music you are interested in mastering. I also really like that it uses standard tab for the lessons (unlike some other apps I’ve tried that rely on gimmicky interfaces). I think the repetition in the lessons is also very helpful in building muscle memory and I can notice improvements in my playing each session. Cons- My only real complaint is that it doesn’t provide any feedback on how well you are hitting notes and keeping time. It would be awesome if this was added and you received some sort of grade after each lesson. Then you could see which lessons you didn’t do well on and could repeat if you wanted to improve.     Great app
    This app is great for me it. The easy of use and setup fits my needs better then some of its competitors. I haven’t played in 6 years and decided to pick it up again and this app has helped me with getting back into a groove. Show more

    Great App!
    I really enjoy using Fretello to learn basic scales and songs. The feedback is really useful, and has gotten me more confident with solos and improvising! The app could use some better organization, it can be a bit confusing at times, but overall it’s a great app! Show more

    Warning
    If you read on some reviews that it’s free they are lying it is not free there is a trial that is $199 a year.

    Wrongful charge
    Pay close attention to the negative feedback it is all true!! This app will charge you for a year subscription with no warning do not download as a trial you will lose money... Show more

    Way too much money
    Who’s going to pay $130 For this application No way But the funny thing is that they won’t told you till you see your bank account
