This app is absolutely amazing! It has really helped me keep track of my practicing and allows me to see a visual of what my practicing is like through the months. 3 changes I would make is to be able to pause a practice session, sometimes when I’m taking notes for a practice session, it doesn’t record all of them, and I play both piccolo, soprano flute, and alto, but there’s only one flute icon, so I can’t tell the difference between any of the records when looking at all of them unless I label them. I think that’s what’s keeping it from being a 5/5 for me. Show more

The app does what I want it to do without getting in the way. The design is really nice and reminds me a bit of fitness apps in terms of completing my practice circle. The timer, stopwatch, metronome tools are simple but effective. I found that I am increasing my focused practice times as a result of using the app. Show more

Well designed and helps me practice.

Out of all the practice logs, this is the best yet as it is a perpetual license, has all of the necessary features, and syncs via iCloud! Some features I would love to see added are calendar reminders and practice schedule setup (warm-ups, scales, songs, etc). Show more

Extremely simple, beautiful design, keeps me motivated to practice

I’m a junior in undergrad for clarinet performance, and I’ve always struggled with focused practice, but having a place to plan what I’m working on each day and track how I’m progressing has been very helpful. Plus, this app is very easy to use and has tons of helpful tools for musicians. Highly recommend! Show more

I started using this app and let me just say- my practice time has gone up immensely. I love the hot streak feature. I got up to over 400 days in a row before losing my streak at camp. I’ve recently started teaching and will recommend this app to all my students. Show more

dude i love this app. they streamlined practice sessions. oftentimes it’s easy to find myself noodling after 20 minutes of technique or repretoire practice. this makes it so intuitive to set goals and timers, the metronome click is incredibly soothing which after a while i find so many metronome grate my ear holes, so much about this app is just perfect. only thing i would add would be stuff like reminders to get up and take a break, or the ability to break up practice times into separate blocks. Overall a great app. Only a couple small complaints. One is that if you want to add on extra practice time you didn’t track, you can’t edit the session length until after you save it. Also, the stats ought to let you see the previous month/year, etc., not just calendar months/years—the “this month” feature isn’t very helpful if it’s the first of the month. On the whole, though, this app has streamlined my ability to keep records of my practice and I would recommend it. Show more

This is such an awesome app! It gives me much more motivation to practice intentionally by reducing the barrier against doing so; for instance, I can decide to set a timer in the app and make my mental goal to ‘get this passage fluid in 10 minutes or less’, and use a metronome on the same screen. The timer is always there, counting down and reminding me that I have something to focus on. Even if I don’t achieve my goal, I have still spent 10 minutes narrowly focusing on a section, which is so much better than playing through a piece from beginning to end and wasting half of that time. The streak feature makes me have a fun reason to practice every day. Show more

I’ve been expanding my piano repertoire and playing very often so this app is just perfect in helping me organize my practice sessions. I especially love that the app is so full featured even without the Pro purchase. That said, the Pro purchase adds a lot to the app and it’s just a one-time charge! A few suggestions (even though I think it’s already a 5-star app): a Take A Rest alert, and the ability to track individual songs/exercises/techniques over time. Great app! Show more

It does exactly what it claims to do. It also has no ads for the free version, which is very nice.

I love this app so much and I love tracking practice with it. I find myself practicing more and I accomplish goals quicker. I would love it if there could be an update to the stats section that could show the day you’ve practiced the most time. If there could be some “friending” update, where you could add others who use the app and see how much they have practiced, it would improve the app greatly. Overall, this app is perfect for musicians and I will use it as long as I can. Show more

Hi, I noticed that when I type things in the entires, it would delete the first group I type and then it would type normally after that. Was wondering if there is any way you could fix this? Thank you. Show more

This app would be great for any music major taking private lessons and in performing groups. Good for beginners, or anyone even trying to develop good practice habits. If you play one instrument it is still very worth getting the pro unlock. Show more
