I use this app every single time I’m going to practice. It makes my practice very organized and productive. I paid for the extra features and I just love them. I always write comments and reminders and it has helped me progress tremendously since I keep track of all the details. The drone feature is wonderful for scales, I use it all the time. Honestly, it encourages me to practice because I see the immediate results. Andante is a great app. It shows you your stats and you can record your mood and focus in addition to how much time you’ve practiced. It also lets you pause the timer or add in your own session if you forgot to time it! I did purchase the in app purchase but the app is just as useful without it. I love it! Show more

I tried writing down how long I would practice and using some other apps that were used for studying, but I would forget to do it or it wasn’t as convenient/helpful for practicing. I got an email from somewhere recommending this app and I’ve used it since then! (4+ months). I love being able to easily turn it on when I practice, and turn it off when I’m done, and if I need to do something I can easily pause it and go on other apps without losing my progress. the other apps were timers, whereas this one is more of a stopwatch, a tracker. They also have a timer option if you like that too! I love how easy it is to use. My favorite part is seeing my progress and having the focus and mood tracker. I never knew fully how long I practiced everyday, I sort of just looked at the clock and stopped when I thought it was an hour or so. But with this app I’m way more mindful about how I’m practicing, which has helped me a lot. also, I always thought I practiced every day, maybe missed a couple every 5+ months or so. turns out I actually miss a few days every month lol I really love this app, it’s helped my practicing become a lot more productive!! highly recommend, especially for musicians :)) Show more

i honestly cannot recommend this app enough. i send it to every musician i meet. i’m a pianist and this app has transformed my relationship with practice, i’m so much more aware of how i spend my time and have been able to build consistent habits and organize my thoughts and methods all in one place. i’m currently at 235 days in a row and i couldn’t be happier. i LOVE how responsive and helpful the developer is and the new features that get dropped in response to requests from the community. i will use this thing until i die.
