The problem with this, is that I don’t know how to download samples to my library. Could you give a tutorial.

I’m a music producer and I use splice for drum samples and whatever. It’s a good app and I use it on my computer. As of right now I’m able to download sounds and add em to my library but when I drag them to my DAW(ableton) it says something along the lines of “file corrupt” or some message like that. I would really like to know if this is maybe an ableton problem or splice problem. Also I am able to drag samples I downloaded up to around the beginning of January but I currently can’t drag any new samples I download so it’s kind of difficult. Show more

The desktop version of Splice is amazing. The app version opens initially and then shuts right down. Tried deleting the app and reopening it, doesn’t fix it.

Splice and Akai had a baby! This baby is the ability to listen to every file on Splice through my MPC Live 2. I was not always this way. Splice worked fine standalone. No issues there. It turned out to be Akai. I updated the MPC to its newest version 2.11.6. No more issues. Splice is definitely worth investing in for quick inspiration and a huge library. Show more

Needs bpm search

I’ve tried this app for 2 years , doesn’t work

Please fix save to files, the circle just spins but never actually saves to files

As a user with thousands of samples in my library, there is no way to find a piano loop in Bm around 100 BPM. Easy on web or desktop. Missing on the app. Searching the store, again there is no way to search key or BPM but at least there is instrument and genre. Beatmaker is an almost useless feature without any sort of tempo or pitch manipulation. Show more

The app is a cool tool I’m theory but leaves a lot to be desired as far as searching for samples . Doesn’t let you select bpm, key , genres … none of the stuff that makes the website and desktop version so useful . Show more

I haven’t been so inspired to make music once I got this app. Splice has really helped me through starting my music career. The only thing tho is that I can’t seem to download the samples on iOS. I press the 3 dots and nothing about downloading samples shows up. Please fix this Show more

Splice + Ableton note would make beatmaking on your phone unprecedented. As it stands, moving files from the splice directory to the Ableton folder is extremely time consuming and redundant. You could make the process easier by adding a share menu option for samples, allowing you to open them directly into Ableton Note, adding them your library directory directly. Alternatively, being able to select the download path location to Ableton’s “imported” folder. I love going through samples on my phone, being able to make beats on it would be a blast. Show more

Yes I gave it 5 stars but it needs a lot of attention to it. I recently been using my samples I purchased prior to what I have already downloaded but I think the downloads need it’s own search attribute to find bpms you need at the moment. I have over 8,000 downloads so it’s hard trying to find the right scheme and it feels overloaded. Another thing is that going into a sample pack and going back out of it you have to start from the beginning if that is the case please add a sort and filter to the next update . I wanna give this app 4 stars but I simply can’t. For starters I never write reviews, and also I love splice! But recently I can’t use Ozone 9 because somehow I can’t update my payment info even though the plan for the ozone is active, but my sounds plan keeps showing “payment failed” and I tried to update it so many times it just keeps saying that their systems are still processing my previous request to update my info. How can I get this fixed ASAP? This is the only thing preventing me from making the music I love so dearly. Also the app is completely BROKEN, thanks splice in advance.. Show more

Doesn’t work at all, why even have an app on the market if it doesn’t even work

As the title says. This app desperately needs an update. It will take as many credits as you spend! But not all those samples will show up on your computer. Please fix this! I would love to use this app more. Show more

I LOVE the idea of this app, of course (who wouldn’t?), but this app is just not good enough in my opinion. It’s slow to load certain pages, i cant search my library of sounds easily, I should be able to choose where my files are saved to. iPads and iPad OS is getting better. This app should get better too. I hope to see some updates in the future that improve the functionality and practicality of the app. Show more

This app has to be an April Fools joke. Nothing loads, can’t add or like anything, no results for basic searches like “drums” or “piano” which definitely brings up thousands of results on the website. Last update over a year ago? They really don’t care Show more

You can’t browse your sample collection and download from it. The best you get is an endless list, with no filters, and you have to go through menues to download Every. Single. Sample. And I have 6000. So for a long-time customer, it’s worse. For a new customer it might be decent to start with… but it will get worse as the weeks go by. And sometimes you can’t download a sample. You can favorite it. Doesn’t tell you why this is. This looks like a rough alpha version of an app. And it hasn’t been updated for a year. That’s what did it for me. They have some AI experimental app, published 3 days ago. With in-app purchases. Great. This is really disrespectful. Show more

Everything about this app is really good and simple to use but it would be a lot better if the beat sequencer had more bars.

I’ve seen on the picture preview that there’s a download button on the side of a sound to download the sound, but when I go into the app myself I don’t have that download button to download the sounds so I cant use any. How do I fix this?? Show more
