    I like them but…
    I like the headphone for the main purpose of mold fitting and that they don’t fall out but I lose connection a lot. There not good to use for phone calls which is why I got them. The battery doesn’t last as long as it says in the booklet. If I could I would give them 3.5. It would great if they didn’t disconnect on its own. They are only good for music and working out.     Do no buy these headphones
    They fit great, feel great. But how they work is terrible. Constantly playing the music through the headphones when they are in the case. Constant Bluetooth interruptions. Almost makes you just not even wanna listen to music anymore. And when you have had them in the case all day you open it up to see that your lef ear bud is at 50% somehow. They have a great piece of hardware but, how it runs and operates is terrible! Show more

    Complete Trash!!
    What a waste of $170!! Right from the start, both headphones don’t even turn on, and it doesn’t even want to connect to my phone! I’ve gone through every troubleshooting steps there are. Complete garbage! Show more

    The Best fitting sounding earbuds
    I have never worn more comfortable and sturdy earbuds ever. Each bud is custom fitted/molded to your own canal based upon a warm and form tech. The fit is so snug, you would think they had noise cancellation features. I can perform any HIIT routine (burpees, jump lunges, plyo etc), and they won’t fall out. The comfort of these is second to none. The sound quality is excellent and the app gives the ear buds more flexibility given the EQ changes. The only criticism would be the blue tooth. They don’t hand shake very well and if the battery isn’t high, it seems to be nearly impossible to get it to link. It’s a minor headache but V 2.0 and beyond should improve this. Show more

    Perfect for me
    I have read some of the reviews, but so far I haven’t had any of issues others have complained about, so I’m assuming they have fixed any Bluetooth connection issues. For me, I was able to leave my phone inside and took my trash to the curb without any breakup or static whatsoever! I feel like I have the range to be anywhere in my house enjoying my music without having my phone tethered to my hip. I don’t understand why some people had trouble with the fitting. If you follow the prompts, it strongly recommends standing in fromt of a mirror before starting your fit. And then follow the gif, that shows you that you sort of twist the ear bud into your canal. Then it will tell you to hold the earbuds in place while it heats up molds to your canal. Maybe some people didn’t hold them in place? I have ALWAYS had issues with any kind of earbud, wired or otherwise. You see, in 2002 I had skin cancer removed from the back of my left ear. They had to do a skin flap to replace the tissue , but that means that my left ear sits about 1/3 of an inch higher than my right ear. This has also caused my ear canal to slightly misshape. Traditional earbuds are painful with my eyeglasses and typically stay in for all of about 40 seconds (if I’m lucky). With my first fitting, I now have super comfortable WIRELESS earbuds that don’t make my ear canals hurt, STAY IN PLACE (even while head bobbing to Breaking Benjamin & Disturbed), and I’ve been able to wear them for more than 4 hours straight without any pain! For me, these are truly worth the price. I purchased them on sale Black Friday, and honestly didn’t expect delivery until January, but I got the 12/23/21. So, given all of the nation wide shipping delays, I was happy I actually got them by Christmas. (Although, I forgot to pack them, so I didn’t fit them until just New Years. If you have hard to fit ears, I truly do highly recommend these! Show more

    Bluetooth very poor
    Either one ear bud only works when I pull them out. And if you use only one earbud you have to repair again in the case to use both. And sometimes won’t connect at all or paid with my phone. For the price should be a lot better. Have had Bluetooth buds pair better then this from a gas station. Ridiculous. Show more

    this update now makes the app inoperable. i can't even get it to open. i had no issues previously and now nothing. so much for "bug fixes"

    Decent sound, terrible fit
    The instructions for fitting the earbuds are clear not useful. I followed them and ended up with earbuds that simply wouldn’t stay in my ears. They fall out without me even moving. They actually fit me better before molding them. I guess I will have to order more of the inserts and try molding again. They claim they can get you a better fit if you send them a picture of your ears, though they don’t tell you this until AFTER you have already molded your first pair. I will try that and update this review if it works. In terms of sound, it sounds pretty good by earbud standards after you adjust the bass all the way up. This effectively lowers the volume, making you have to raise your volume up almost all the way, but this is fine as you don’t want to raise it loud enough to hurt your ears anyway. Show more

    Don’t buy these—Extremely disappointed
    I wish I could comment on the fit or sound quality, but I literally can’t even get these things to pair with my phone to begin with. Get any other Bluetooth earbuds. Total waste of money. Show more

    Wish I could give it half a star
    Company estimated 10 to 15 days to ship (amazing considering this a premium product) only to take 20 days. Packaging was the first tell. They really overdid it, box within a box, and had to unwrap it from a vacuum seal. This isn’t space age tech. Total fluff Right headphone wouldnt light up meaning not only was it not holding or receiving a charge, but it wouldn’t connect to my iPhone Bluetooth. Wasted 45 minutes trying everything. So much for that extreme packaging. Also who ever heard of downloading an app to use a product. Ridiculous. The cherry on top was when making this 250 dollar product return, they didn’t even have the decency to make the shipping label UPS like many companies do when making a return. I had to go to the dreaded post office instead. Overall a total waste of time, and a not so uncommon issue. Too bad all the bad reviews are here on the App Store as opposed to online where they paid journalists to list this overpriced piece of junk on the “top ten wireless headphones of 2020” list. I don’t like apple as a company, but it’s air pod pros for me now. Show more

    The worst
    These are the worst earbuds I’ve purchased and I have many (Bose, Toto-10/12, Beats studio). Where is an update to the firmware?! They don’t properly connect to iOS devices…I’m very disappointed in these being that I purchased after having such a good experience with the UE Boom. When they did connect the sound was decent and the app provided a decent present/customizable sound option whereas most buds do not have that option. Nevertheless, they fail when length of charge and most of all connectivity! ? they go, huge waste of money! Show more

    Not worth it
    I wanted these to work so bad. Unfortunately, after three days of purchasing two headphones, BOTH of the right earpieces are either glitching or will not work. Red flag to have purchased over 350 dollars worth of headphones for both right sides to malfunction. Don’t waste your money on such a cheap product. Show more

    Perfect fit
    So far so good, the sound quality isn’t the best but the perfect fit makes up for it. For the price these earbuds are well worth it but I would personally pay a little more for a better quality sound. Show more

    UE Fits
    I love these ear buds and the app. I bought two sets of these and haven’t had any problems at all with them and they sound amazing! I am getting the UE 18+ CSX real soon and I can’t wait to hear what they sound like! UE is a fantastic company to deal with and if you have an issues they seem to take care of their customers!     Horrible sound on phone calls
    I want to start by saying I am a huge UE fanboy. I have UE 11 pros and speakers etc. sound on these are nice but phone calls are horrible... like.... unbelievably horrible Show more

    UE Fits
    I am dissapointed with the whole process of these earbuds. First of all the instructions for fit were terrible! They tell you to start fit and then pop ups of instructions happen. I didnt hear any sound in the left ear. Pushed harder on both buds for a good fit and ruined the right molding process. The the sound was perfect till I got a phone call. None of the tap controls worked. When I unloaded the app and reinstalled it it messed up the connectivity of the Bluetooth . Only one ear phone would connect. Hard reset over and over same problem. Im so done for the night and very disappointed. Show more

    Earbuds Terrific, Bluetooth No So
    The earbuds are the best-fitting, most comfortable I have ever owned. No there’s come close. I’m no audiophile but have no trouble with the sound, and the EQ settings work well. If only the Bluetooth connection would stop dropping. There were several drops in the first half hour or so but no more in the next hours. A firmware update might take care of this, I’m hoping.     Great earbuds, good app, great EQ
    This is not an exhaustive review of the earbuds, just a high level buds + app. Edit - update: 2 months owned and Bluetooth is struggling. Some firmware update came out and made it even worse. Hoping for another update. Too bad, we’re solid prior but now no better then other crap on the market. The earbuds sound incredible. I am not audiophile listener but I love speakers, earbuds, headphones, etc. Your general music lover and sadly always looking for a pair of headphones that fit!! APPs were my go to along with Sony’s IE buds. Nothing fits. The Sony’s sound great but fit and weight is horrible. The APP just don’t fit and put pressure on my inner ear. These fits are the real deal. They fit. I run, bike, walk and even dance with these and they do NOT move. A quick blurb on sound quality. Not a fan of the default EQ. I created a few EQ profiles which is awesome. I have one for Pop and Dance music more tuned towards mid and bass and a rock/alternative EQ tuned more towards treble and mid. I switch these via the app. I have it tuned more towards the brighter side (upper part of the EQ tune) and it’s just amazing. UE has been in the IE monitor space for 50+ years. Almost every artist in the world use UE in studio. They are that good and these are just their first consumer facing generation - I can’t wait to see what’s next. (Hint: QC 5100 chipset will bring even more BT improvements in 2021). The app itself - solid and works for fit molding and EQ tuning. My only complaint that I think could be improved is more documentation on the EQ. After learning what the dials are showing (up vs down vs sideways vs moving the dot to the right or left but not down or up allows you to tune the roll of frequency.) I have spent 2 hours or more playing with the EQ - I really enjoy it because it gives a person that really wants control of how the music sounds complete control. I still think lots of complaints about other headphones is that the EQ can’t be controlled. UE please keep focusing on this control - people like me love it!! Great product!! Show more
