    Fantastic Tag Editor!
If you're very particular about your tags, like me, this app is fantastic. It's smartly designed and has tons of features that make tagging a breeze.

    Worth every penny
Works perfectly, I can finally change the cover art on my local files for Spotify. App is super easy to use and the UI is intuitive.

    Best MP3 tag editer
I've literally tried over a dozen different MP3 tag editors and even tried writing my own. This one is by far the best and has been for a long time. I used to use the windows version which was also great but so happy I can use a native Mac one now instead. UPDATE: 2 years later and it just keeps getting better! Show more

    Great Tag Editor
I've been using for several months and this is now one of my essential goto tools for managing my music library.

Best way to tag your audio files!
I've been a user of the free Windows version of mp3tag for years, and I'm glad that Florian wrote a macOS version. It works exactly as advertised, and I use it on audio files of all types. Show more

    There's nothing better for tagging
I discovered this years ago and used it on my work PC. I liked it so much I ran it under Wine on my Mac because it was just so much better than anything else. Now that it's also Mac-native it's the one to use no matter what platform you're on. Does the normal tagging things but has regular expression support to modify tags, supports all of the common compressed and uncompressed audio formats (FLAC!), and more. Show more

    The best MP3/M4A tagger
Having used MP3Tag in a Windows VM for years, I was ecstatic that there is now a native macOS version. MP3Tag is indispensible for local music tagging/management.

Great App that Only Gets Better!
I'm a new convert to MP3Tag, having tried many other similar apps before discovering this one. Since I started using it, the author has provided two updates and each update just makes me more and more of a fan and certain I'll be using this app for a long time to come. Show more

Best Music File Tag Editor on the Mac
I've tried all the others, and this one is the best. It loads super fast and it works every time. The interface is clean, intuitive and easy to understand.

Paid for itself many times over
MP3Tag (both the WINE version and Native MAC) has been a lynchpin in my media server digital ingest path that has allowed me to cancel my streaming service subscription and just listen to/enjoy my decades-curated digital library that probably wouldn't have been possible to replicate on that service. Thank you SO MUCH! Show more

Unintuitive, confusing and cannot read files corectly
Just bought the app, gave it a test ride on 59 mp3 files to edit. very poor job. User interface is poorly designed when you want to edit many songs in batch. Very bad app from my standpoint Show more

    Dont look further
I used to run a Windows VM on my Mac just for the windows version of this software. I am so pleased to find this app now available natively for MacOs. By far the best tag editor ever. Thank you! Show more

    Still the best
Just as good as the Windows version is (was). Thanks for migrating with me!

    Great MP3 tags swiss knife
I used Mp3tag at Windows for years, and now happy to have it at Mac platform! The tool is great and allows to set or fix metadata and tags of my music collection, to add album pictures and to keep media filenames and tags in sync. Batch processing and builtin functions are just great. I don't like eco system suggested by Apple, so prefer to manage my media collections myself. The tool is gem, I love it. Thanks a lot to the author for long years developing and supporting it! Many of these years for free. Show more

    No Custom Tagging Support
Eagerly purchased mp3tag in hopes of quickly organizing my audiobook library, only to learn that the developer has actually REMOVED this capability from the app. For $20, you should have access to more than 2 metadata libraries. Show more

    Not automated
App still requires you to make selections song by song on how to update it. Not the best workflow when you have thousands of tracks from thousands of albums. Automatic genre import is what I am hoping to get across thousands of different albums. Show more

    Exactly what I wanted
I'm an amateur DJ who was looking for a good tool to tag up tracks without having to use Apple Music as I want to keep my DJ collection separate from my general library. Originally was using MetaBliss but did not like how rigid it was to use. Downloaded this and it is everything I wanted, major step up. Editing is easy, you can move columns around as needed, it works great. Highly recommend. Show more

Not nearly as good as the free Windows version
Overall this app is just "ok". Compared to the window's version, the Mac version has less features overall, some of which are pretty basic features that any tagging app should include, such as a large field for lyrics. It is also missing some higher end features like choosing what web sources can be used and added. When making folder and file renaming templates, you have to do it and run that action to test out the template and to save the template so that yo u can come back to it. I don't mind paying for the MAc version of a free app, but it should at least be as good as the free version, but for the $20.00 price, they are plenty of other tagging apps for Mac that offer many more features and can be easily used. I really wanted to like this app, but unfortunately it is confusing to use, has poor documentation and does not offer anything more than many free and cheaper apps Show more

Been waiting for a Mac version for a while!
