I love how I can make a widget on this app and let it show what I’m playing for my music but something I would like you to improve is how many music apps we can choose from, for example like SoundCloud because most of us probably don’t even have Spotify or Apple music, and etc. So I would like if you can improve more choices like you can put a search bar to find any music app you would want to listen to and then listen to it. I set up my Spotify widget but there is no way to add it to my home-screen. The app is fully updated too. I should have known not to trust this and re-download it. Would be nice if you didn’t lie to get downloads Show more

Widget is great, but would definitely need to throw a song progress bar in the next update for sure!

The music widget barely works it always freezes and shows the wrong song AND the wrong album cover it’s bad don’t download

i literally never review apps but i decided to spend the $3 for the spotify and playback controls features for widgets and it quite literally does not work. aka, a scam for $3. while that isn’t too much out of my pocket it isn’t something i want to lose money to and i’m sure they make bank w/ all the people who spend the $3. screw these developers for that. It was working but now after I’ve reinstalled both apps it won’t connect to Spotify I’ve bought the pro obviously….

I love this app, and it is very customizable and gives you the option to make your widget blend perfectly with your home screen no matter what layout you’re aiming for. However, there is a huge feature that’s missing that’s very important to me, and that is automatically refreshing the “now playing” song. I know that it works fine when you have the WidgetPod app running in the background, but I so badly wish that the widget would update without needing to run the WidgetPod app. I gave the app 3 stars because that’s a huge deal for me, and is kinda the whole point of the app. I know this feature isn’t implemented due to Apple’s limitations, but if there is ever a way to work around it, that would be awesome. It’s still a great app either way, and I will continue to be using it! The automatic refresh would bring the app to 5 stars though. Show more

Don’t understand the negative reviews. The app works as advertised, performing the playback functions I purchased it for. Also has some nice customization options. All for $3. Nice app!! Show more

Awesome app love the concept but the delay between the widget is TERRIBLE you have to open Spotify through the widget. But then after it’s just not even communicating with Spotify at that point. Show more

Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love WidgetPod. Especially how much you can customize your widgets. The only issue is when I start playing music it sometimes doesn’t update on the widget, even with the app opened. I tried closing and restarting the app, no luck. Otherwise great idea + widget! The widget never works as expected, with Spotify it never shows the right album artwork and it gets stuck in the first song that it showed and the skips to the last one when you tap on it. If they’d have made it work like the now playing on control center but with the album artwork as a background it would’ve been just perfect, but no. Show more

Great price/value for Pro!

Loving the app, super clean looking and the level of customization in the pro version is great. Two main things I would like to point to for fixing. 1. When tapping the widget or selecting one of the functions of the player(back,pause,next) the widget gives a small visual pop as if it was attempting to open the WidgetPod app that kind of can takes you aback. If this could be fixed that it does not happen that would be great. 2. When the option of open music application for tap feature is set the app has to open first and then redirects to iTunes. If this could also be bypassed then this would be 5 stars for me no problem. Show more

The one thing I would add with notifications is having the app icon be a note/music glyph instead of WP’s icons. Or maybe just the album art?

Can you add in whenever the Spotify song changes it changes on the widget as well.
