This app is helpful, when it works. More often than tolerable, my band members can’t connect. Even with the HiQnet addresses set, sometimes the app just won’t connect to the board. This has been an ongoing problem - it’s not version-specific. I love my Si Expression boards, and would love to give bands personal control of IEM mixes, but it just frustrates everyone when it doesn’t work. The small faders are a sacrifice most would be willing to make for a working product. Show more

This app is all but useless. The controls are impossibly tiny. Also, this app does not work for the iPhone X. Both my wife and I upgraded our phones, walked into to band rehearsal and could no longer connect. Very disappointed in Soundcraft. I expect more from a “Big” name. I contacted support and their response was “Well, this app was never really designed for phones anyway.” Show more

I don’t always have my iPad in my hands, but my phone is in my pocket. I need cue control, EQ and compressor in my pocket. One channels’s controls would readily work on the phone. If you documented any protocol for talking to your devices, you’d be serving your customers better by allowing g them to have software that works as they do in their productions! Show more

Perfect tool to allow musicians to tune their own stage mix or in ear monitors. To have full control of the board the IPad app works well.

No features at all just volume control

This app only allows control of mixes. It would be more useful to control the whole board like the Remote app does. Carrying an iPad everywhere isn't always practical and having the functionality of Remote on the iPhone would be useful. Even if only 2-3 channels (portrait) or 4-5 channels (landscape) are visible at a time. Show more

I had a lot of trouble on iPad also. Rebooting iPad seemed to help. I eventually got it working. No amount of hand-holding, dhcp, manual, or anything made it work for an iPhone. Show more

I tried using the ViSi Listen app for my SI Impact via an iPad by it didn't work. The app could't discover the console. I tried several different configurations with no luck. I even tried using an iPhone. I use the ViSi Remote app without any issues. Why will one app work but not the other? I will be contacting SoundCraft support. Hopefully they won't give me the runaround... Show more

I use an Si Expression 3 and use 10 busses for monitors. The Visi iPad app can be frustrating because the musicians have access to the main mix and often adjust that accidentally. This solves that problem. My only issue is the controls are WAY too small for an iPhone 6s screen and because of that the faders are hard to control as you can't see them with your finger covering them up. I would much rather see bigger faders with less per page so they are easier to adjust as well as some sort of graphic control for each bus. Show more

There should be a way to just have the faders I need and not all 50 channels. That'd be my main gripe. Otherwise it seems good...so far.
