The lack of Apple Music Hi Res support is shocking
I was looking forward to Apple music hi-res. Unfortunately it is still unclear, how I can listen to the hi-res audio will this app or just me iPhone, on my formation duo wirelessly. Show more

App needs A LOT of improvement
I’d love to use this app because I use the full Formation suite throughout my house. But it is going to have to integrate better with Tidal and other streaming services, including the new Spotify HiFi when it is online, to make it useful. I’d love to use this instead of the AirPlay option for controlling all my Formation speakers. Please put some work into this app to make it worthwhile! Show more

Simple setup, struggling with volume control loss
When playing music in Spotify, I often lose the ability to control the volume unless I go into the B&W music app. I have to disconnect my Formation space and reconnect it. Would appreciate help! Lovely speaker though. *Updated after April release. Volume control issues appear resolved! Show more

    Useless - Sticking to Roon
An app to support a high end sound system should be high end. This app is a disgrace. I’ll be sticking to Roon which is world class, has incredible sound quality and system control. Who came up with this abominable idea? Show more

    Terrible app terrible software
Their old app sucked & this one does as well. This one won’t even let me register. Have tried verifying my email at least 4-5 times. Has never been able to be programmed to a regular TV remote software is complete trash. Very frustrated with B&W... Show more

    Progress
Big improvement over the previous iPhone app, but does support Pandora, Amazon Music or Apple Music. I don’t have Tidal, although I hear great things about it. I guess I’ll have to wait on whether B&W decides to support these other three services as I’m not willing to subscribe ($$$) to another music service to expand my listening pleasure on what already is a very expensive wireless speaker system. Uselessness is by now a tradition
For my sins I bought much of the formation line of products - great design, good sound, and the worst software in the known universe. The original app was buggy, incapable of “learning” any remote control, and presented a winning combo of horrible UX and UI. This new abomination is probably even worse, as it struggles to deal with complex issues such as volume control. Welcome to the 20th century, BW and whoever your software partners are. Btw, most of us live in the 21st. Show more

    Doesn’t really work
The app does not allow me to link my Tidal account or Apple Music account. I don’t get what the point of the app even is if it doesn’t allow that.

    Needs work
It's iPhone app, needs iPad portrait and landscape version. I don't use streaming services so app needs to access device music library.
