This thing is the most dumbed down transcribe tool ever invented it misses most chord changes or gets them way wrong. I tried it on a few SIMPLE tunes that I already knew just to test it. It was a joke! My two cents. Show more

This app is horrible. Barely works at all. Don't waste your money!

Not good. Just bought it; tried it on Faithless Love by J.D.Souther. Awful. Missed a lot of chords, got several others wrong. Chord Tracker by Yamaha is much more accurate.

It recognizes most of the chords pretty good. Great that you can have it in your pocket and practice your songs anywhere you like!

There are no chord recognition apps out there that are 100%, but this one does a much better job with complicated songs that other apps have failed on for me. Even when it does not get the courts 100% right (it seems to have a tendency to detect chord changes when there aren't any, but complicated things are happening in the melody), it gets enough of them right to give me a foundation to work out the rest of the song. I don't need this at all, I play by ear and I read music. I teach music and so I'm always looking for tools to share with my students. I thought that this would be a good tool, boy was I wrong. It can't even find the key the song is in, yet along the chords. Every song it transcribed this app said it was in A# which is Bb for some. I used several different style songs and even songs that had a basic 1 5 6 4 progression with just a piano and vocals another with just guitar and it misread the whole entire thing. 4 chords and not only was it in the wrong key it was the wrong chords. App is the best yet. I actually like it better than the computer version. It helps me able to finally play along easily to the music I want to play. Keep up the good work Mark Show more

This app is a must have for every musician!!

Overall not bad. Will give you an idea on what's going on but is not 100% accurate. If it's just a 3 chord song it transcribes it fine but when the song has more going on it does not do as well. However, It helps me figure out the key and gives me a better idea and from there I figure the rest out quicker then I would. Basically is just like a little cheat sheet. Overall not bad Show more

Close enough to let you fine tune. ( if needed) Great time saver for chording a song.

I am always trying to figure out chords to new songs...such a time-waster when I could be practicing. This APP can actually say that it created more time in my day. Super easy and very helpful. Highly recommend! Show more

I waste a lot on time on chord selection - I'm primarily a play by ear musician. This app was able to accurately identify the chords in every Scott Joplin piece I tried. Great time saver!! Only issue I found was not being able to export the chords in PDF . The mail works fine, but the file is empty. Musicians and beginners will love this app. Show more

I've been a musician for about 50 years. I remember how hard it was to learn a new song! You'd wear the grooves out of your vinyl just trying to learn a part of a song. This app speeds up the process but doesn't do all the "work" for you. I find that some of the chords are either incorrect or not placed in the song where the actual change happens. If you're an old fogie like me, you won't have any problem with those small corrections. You'll learn songs at lightning speed with this app! Use it for good and not for evil!!!
