This app is well worth the price of admission. Of all the binaural beats/relaxation apps that I have used, Beatfulness is the best so far. I know this because I find myself naturally wanting to use it daily. That’s never happened before with any other relaxation app. I find that I am able to enter a calm, relaxing full body vibrational state fairly quickly with this app. I highly recommend it. Show more

I bought the lifetime back in 2019 and tried to restore it the app says it isn’t recognized on my apple id. Even though my purchase history definitely has beat fullness life time. Edit: Closing the app and restarting it a few times helped maybe… also clicking the purchase lifetime button… Time to breathe things out cooooo slahhhhh. This app is amazing I couldn’t use it anymore on my 6 plus post 2020 but as soon as i got my 12 I instantly installed it and in the end im glad it restored. Show more

Disclaimer: I knew about binaural beats before but never listened to them with headphones before downloading this app. I always listened to them with speakers from YouTube. When I found this app, I thought I’d give it a shot and test out my new sleeping headphones. I’ve always had trouble sleeping because outside noise, over active brain, or couldn’t stop tossing & turning. Figured this could help with one of them. Turns out it practically covered all the bases given you use the right beat. First time I used it to sleep (it was Hyper Sleep/Deep Sleep), I had this sense of paralysis where I knew I could move but my body didn’t want to. No demons though! And I slept like a log. Granted I, for some reason, kept waking up every couple hours & realizing I’m awake then went straight back to sleep. Woke up feeling energized! Haven’t had that same experience but I still sleep better than I used to. Now it’s become routine to take a power nap an hour or hour & 1/2 (before getting ready for work), listening to either Deep Relaxation or Nature Element beats. It’s improved my mood & work efficiency! Be warned though, if you’re like me then using certain beats for certain activities will wire your brain to associate the two. For example, I use Deep Sleep REM to sleep since I normally don’t get 8 hours due to work. If I switch to Forest, which is one of the beats I use for power napping, then I won’t be able to sleep right. So if you’re like that at all then pick carefully. The free version is already great since you get like 6 available downloads: 2 Morning, 2 Afternoon, & 2 Night tailored beats. At least if I remember correctly. However, you might as well go with the paying options to get access to it all because it’s cheap compared to other (general) apps with payment plans. You get two options: $1.50 a month OR $50 for lifetime access. Can’t really go wrong with either since the beats you get access to are so worth it. Speaking of the options, I wouldn’t take the descriptions of the beats to heart. Some say it’s good for detoxing, others for let go of the day, use for 10-15 minutes daily even though it also says to listen for 30+ minutes to get the best effect. I doubt they can do those things specifically but that’s me. Base it on the category name then what sound you enjoy hearing. Sometimes it can be a mood thing. Once a month I need to delete then redownload the app because it just doesn’t work. I contacted the company 6 months ago and they were really nice but said it was Apple’s fault and their hands were tied. I also think the search doesn’t work, it’s very “jumpy” for lack of a better word. You have to very quickly (and accurately) type in the word. I finally gave up and just deleted the app and my membership for good. Show more

Beautiful app, the meditations instantly raise my vibrations, forever grateful

I’ve been using this app for a week and been enjoying it enough that I subscribed. I have multiple binaural beat and meditation sound apps on my phone but I cycle between them because I’ve yet to really find one that I like a the best, but so far this might be my favorite that I’ve found. I really like the variety of beats this app has, and the mixed ambient sounds are really nice. I like that you can just start listening to a session and let it play as long as you want. The first day I installed the app I did have a frustrating experience. Upon first trying to use it, there were no images loading and every session I tried to start, just seemed frozen - it wouldn’t download the audio. I was really annoyed and almost deleted the app but I realized something was wrong with my home internet connection. Once I fixed my internet the app behaved as expected, but keep in mind that each “session” has to be downloaded and isn’t already just included in your install of the app, so if you don’t have a reliable internet connection you may have issues. My feedback to the developers would be to add some kind of warning or info message to the user when the network is too slow to download the sessions, or to warn users about this when first using the app. There are a few small UX things the app could improve (like adding a back or X button on each sessions landing/info page) or adding some more sound themes to the library, but overall I really like this app and the subscription price is very reasonable. My one huge wish would be for the developer to port this app to the Mac App Store. I love listening to beats like this when I’m working, but I like to keep my headphones connected to my Mac instead of my phone so That i can hear my meeting alerts or work calls. I’ve used other binaural iOS apps ported to the Mac and it’s a great functionality to have. Please consider doing this for Beatfulness! Show more

I love this app. I’ve been using it since 2019, I use it everyday! It helps me sleep or when I just need a moment to myself I just put on headphones and drift off into my own world. One thing though, I have an IPhone 11 Pro, when I set the timer to 2 hours it doesn’t cut off when the time ends. Sometimes I wake up to the sounds still on. It’s not a big issue because I usually get the best sleep when it’s on all night, but I was wondering if you guys could fix this small bug? Still an amazing app and I still continue to use it everyday. Also the spatial sound is my new favorite! Show more

I’ve been using Beatfulness for a couple months. I have other binaural beat apps, but they don’t compare to the quality and preference selection of Beatfulness. I’ve also been using this app in conjunction with the Fisher Wallace Stimulator and I find that using them together has enhanced my overall mood and motivation in many ways beyond simply “feeling better” - as many reviewers have already mentioned, it’s more of a deeply rooted spiritual experience for me. Some things I would like to see added to the app are community forums for users to discuss their experiences, a blog of some sort from the creators, and an option within the app itself to review or link to some of the scientific research involving binaural beats. It’s been a bit challenging for me to find studies I can understand as a layperson, and many of the ones I have read are harshly critical due to, what I think, is because of this being a seemingly “novel” treatment method. Overall, I love the choices of beats provided, but the app would be even better if it supported a more engaging and interactive platform. Thank you so much! Show more

Best mindfulness binaural beats and sacred geometry combo app, but it's not on Android! Many of my friends would love to use this beauty of an app but only have Android phones! This is the best money I’ve spent on an app. I use this day and night. No other app compares. When I saw new beats were added today, I just had to write this second review to say: thank you so much to the developer for this wonderful app of beautiful sounds! If you’re looking for ambient music to get you though the day, this is the app for you. There are so many to choose from and you can set it to keep playing as long as you like. I love this app and have recommended it to several people. The newest update has a bug that keeps asking me to subscribe, even though I already have and it won’t let me play the selected beats. Hopefully you all will be able to figure that bug out soon! Thanks Show more

Why would I continue to pay and subscribe to an app that keeps locking me out?? A horrible glitch or something but this app is supposed to help relax me ….not frustrate and rip me off!!
