Shuts down what you were playing, so it has nothing to identify. It’s hijacked your phone’s sound - like a lot of broadcast apps do - then sits in the silence it created and tells you it doesn’t recognize your song. It’s almost a Zen koan all on it’s own. Bad app it didnt say anything

it does not work it gives me different songs each time and they do not sound alike

In the several times I’ve used the app, it has never identified a song, even when the song has sounded very clear to me. I just tried identifying a song on the radio in my car, and the app gave me an error message about the phone being connected to a device, I guess because it was connected to the car via Bluetooth, even though it wasn’t doing anything with the Bluetooth connection. It’s possible this app works great, but it has never worked for me. Show more
