I love this app! Really helpful in discovering new music.

I gave this app three stars out of hope that it’s better than my experience has been with it. ? I’ve tried signing in to my Spotify on the app 4 times on 2 separate devices and it won’t let me type anything in. No matter what I try the keyboard just keeps disappearing as quick as it pops up and I don’t know what else to do. I tried deleting and re-downloading the app 3 times and it hasn’t worked. Maybe someone can help me figure it out? I really want to test it out! Show more

This app is very slow and duty. Please don’t use this app

When I first installed this app, I was fixated on the app for a couple hours. After that, I’ve been trying for the past week to launch the app, however it crashes when I try to load it? Perhaps I have liked too many songs but please fix this issue. Show more

Straight out of the gate, this app REQUIRES that you enter your phone number. The button beside the data field says “Get Verification Code.” There is *NO* indication whether they will ONLY use your phone number to (presumably) send you a text message, or KEEP IT (to sell to advertisers, etc.). The concept is really good, but the execution is crap. The app is slow, laggy, very unresponsive. Generally the UI is outdated. Sometimes I need to swipe left 10 times to get rid of one song. Show more

Very laggy app. Had to restart it at least four times just to even get to the music. Have to restart it every time I swipe. Gave up after ten tries. Might try again because I really do like the idea of this app. Show more

However it will not register me tapping, swiping, or anything! It’s a real bummer cause I want to use it because I absolutely love finding new music to listen to.

So, you can’t say or search artists you like. I searched for 20 minutes, swiping and changing genres, and could not find my favorite musician. They are not obscure in any way whatsoever. They fit into so many categories and never once showed up. Please let me able to search and like their songs or something! And why can I only have 5 genres at a time? Show more

Freezes constantly, essentially unusable for me. Deleted after only a few min.

I really like the concept of this app and feel like it can help all music lovers get out of listening ruts. However, i’ve been having issues within the app. Sometimes, it takes multiple swipes in order for the app to register what i’m trying to do. There are others times where it gets stuck and i’ll swipe multiple times, not realizing what is happening, and then it catches up by swiping through multiple songs at once. I also really don’t like the music video feature. The videos take forever to load and then i can’t skip through the song without swiping the song away. I think once the app fixes these issues and becomes more intricate in its song recommendations, it has the potential to be unstoppable. Show more

Getting to find new music is a fantastic idea but the app doesn’t work. Be prepared for the app to freeze within the first 5 seconds of opening. I wouldn’t mind adds if that’s what’s need to get this to work. Show more

I’ve seen a lot of hispanic genres missing that i’d love if they were in it. I can help with expanding the hispanic genre if you guys need me to suggest which to add and so on Show more

The only thing you can do when you first open the app is enter your phone number to get a verification code. Verify what? It doesn’t say.

Needed some new music, HotDrop helped immensely
