Good music recognition app. I just wish it could sync my music recognitions directly with the YouTube Music app/service to automatically update a playlist of found songs. Hope you can make it happen. ? Show more

Such an uplifting!

It must be over 10 years now I’ve used this app. I have nothing but good things to say. It’s been a very seldom time over the years that it didn’t pull up the song I was listening too, no matter how obscure. Did you ever find yourself hearing a song in a crowded place that brought back old memories but you never really knew who played it? This app has your back. Did you hear a song on a random tv show and really like it but never heard it before but you’d like to hear it again? This app will save it. And you can go over all of those saves at any point no matter how long ago you saved them. It’s like having an ongoing source recording the music score of your life documentary. Show more

I could play any song, Then the music library was blocked and it was playlists only. Now Apple Music is required. Just keeps getting worse.

And I bought the paid version because it is SO WORTH IT. Shazam gets a lot of marketing, but this BLOWS everything else out of the water.

When did you guys remove the ability to show where I was when I searched for a song? I was trying to show a friend why he should spend the bucks on SoundHound over Shazam by demonstrating one of its coolest features - the map that shows where a song was “discovered” - but I couldn’t find it anymore. Why did you remove that? Show more

The app lost its ability to auto share to Facebook and then in the new update you can’t select it to connect to auto share. I like using it while I’m driving and the auto share feature was so nice. I don’t like it now because you gave to click on things to post. That’s dangerous while driving. I rarely use it anymore because of this. Show more

Very good app. I have found lots of childhood songs with this app. Glad I found it. Only problem is it may think one song is another song. Not that annoying because it will eventually correct itself. Show more

This USED to be great. Even recognizing music titles in a loud busy bar. Now it fails over and over even in the best quiet environment. I can’t figure it out. I’ve used this app for over 5 years and now it’s crap. I’m extremely disappointed. Show more

For the longest time when I would look something up it was added to my library. For some reason that does not happen any my. I checked my settings and according to the all my settings it should still add to my playlist. Just wish it still did. Show more

Almost without fail, this app tells me the song that is playing.

I could write more but not now. Kinda like how SH decides to fail right at the tail end of a last chance to id a song....

There’s no difference between the free and paid version. Both only give you 30 seconds of music and if you want to listen to the full song you have to connect it to your YouTube, Spotify, or Apple Music account. Doesn’t make sense to pay for it. This app is great for discovering music for you but you get exactly the same benefits on the free version. It also doesn’t support family sharing. Each member of you family will have to pay to download the app. Lastly, The music also stops playing when you close the app. Show more

I have been using Midomi since the app store first opened. It has progressed well over the years. It’s way better than my friends Shazam. SoundHound is accurate the majority of the time. I have music contests with my friends and this app always beats Shazam at finding remixes! And if it can't catch the remix, it shows you the original song. If you’re not on a network, or WiFi, it saves the snippet of the song & when you’re connected again, you can search the database at a later time. Love it! Show more

Why is app even on the AppStore if you can’t play music from a Bluetooth speaker and read the lyrics at same time? I mean it’s a genuine question that you see around the web since 2012 yet no answer has ever been able to explain. Might want to add the this to one of earth’s world wonders. Show more

The screenshots state that you are able to connect to Spotify to automatically add songs from Soundhound to Spotify. This option has been removed from Soundhound, but it is still being advertised. Show more

This app makes my blood boil. Why say I don’t have Internet connection when it isn’t the case. Shazam works 100% of the time. I would like to use both apps but this I want to see gone. I hate it. Show more
