    Beloved Dr. Betotte
Used Dr. Betotte on my Mac for years. SO GLAD to have it on my iPhone! Awesome in every way!

How does the watch companion work?
I love this app because I love my Dr. Beat. But I am not sure how the I-watch companion is supposed to work. When I open the app on my watch it shows the tempo screen, but when I push play nothing happens. Please help?! Thanks! Show more

This app needs a users manual
I bought it, but I’m not going to use it. I can tell you that it is a well thought out, versatile, and feature rich, app. Here is my example: 2/4 time, on beat #1 play four 16th notes, the first two notes are assigned sound A. The second two are assigned sound B. For beat #2 use sounds A and B to play two 8th notes. This is the kind of metronome i use to practice drum sticking exercises. How can this be done? Maybe I can do it with the sequencer feature, but that is the main problem. The developer provides a sequencer, but no documentation on how to use it. It is not intuitive enough for the uninitiated. The built in help is lame; the online help does not exist. Ill go back to using Metronomics until there is better support for this app. Ill give it 5 stars when some better documentation shows up Show more

Fantastic app! Would like a better master volume control....
As a band director, I use this app (on the iPad) frequently. It has a lot of the functionality of a Dr. Beat. I wish, however, that it had a better master volume control. I find it difficult to quickly, easily, accurately control the master volume when I need to turn it up or down. Rather than having the relatively small volume control at the top of the app, I suggest adding a full-sized master volume slider along with the other sliders. I also wish that it was possible to hide the playlist on the side as I only use that feature occasionally. Show more

The best metronome app out there
And believe me when I say that... I've tried them all! I'd say this is the best out there for musicians that really are serious and want to customize and control their metronome/drum machine in every way possible right from their Apple Products! However, If you're just learning and looking for something more simplistic go for MetroTimer. I recommend that one to my students who are starting out. It's far less involved, and gives you a good straight forward metronome with a few easy-to-understand options. Show more

Best metronome app on the app store!!
I bought this app over 5 years and two iPhones ago. As a drummer there simply isn't a better metronome iPhone app out there. The continued support of the developer and all of its features make this well worth every penny. Show more

    Absolutely The Best!
Okay, I know this app seems expensive at around $10... Trust me, it's worth every penny and more! It's the only app I have found that emulates the boss db-90, but much better. The developer is quick to respond to emails as well. The only wish I have for the app is a slightly larger start/stop button and compatibility with the Airturn Bluetooth pedals. Regardless, this is a must have! I play drums for one of the largest churches in the US, as well as being a session drummer with many bands in the Houston area and I use a click a lot. Trust me I've tried them all and this is the one!!! Show more

    Good-add haptic please!
App is pretty good! Full capabilities of Dr. Beat metronome for 1/10th the price. Crashes sometimes. Would be great to add haptic feature to Apple Watch version for silent pulse.

    Great metronome!
Amazing metronome app, with all the functionality of the top-of-the-line Dr. Beat metronomes, and even more. iOS 9 update now works with iPad split view multi tasking, which is very useful! Show more

    I love this app
It clicks on all the division's I need plus has triplet quarters, odd meter support and the ability to save my settings per piece I'm working on.

    Best Metronome App!
I've had this app for years. Tried several other apps. This is, by far, the best app (and best value) out there. All the features I want and need are there. Highly recommended! Show more

No BPM (tempo) reading in iOS8 on iPhone 6+
I have used both this version and the Mac version for years and love it, but there is a very unfortunate bug. There is no BPM readout on my iPhone 6+, so I can only guess on the tempo. Obviously, this renders the app pretty useless. Show more

Glad they added an iPad app but dislike the playlist sidebar that you can't get rid of! iPhone version is much better but overall both are a bit cluttered. Need to reduce some of the buttons and put them in a setting or preference menu. Still one of the best metronomes around! Show more

I use this every day (and you should too)
This metronome is loud and it has all the beat divisions I could want. It's my constant practicing companion. Seishu Murakami, I'll do my best to get you a comp ticket when I win my first real orchestral job. Show more
