This app has everything I was looking for. Love that I can search through folders to find what to play next. Well worth the money. update: still very impressed, one issue, when you hit the rewind button sometimes instead of going back 10 seconds it jumps back to near the beginning of the movie/show. it usually only happens the first time you hit the rewind button and then you can rewind like normal. I don't usually rate an app on here. But this one is the exception. Once you install the helper application on your computer it's set to work with no issues. I like the fact you can see your playlist and also add or take away video files from the playlist. It's worth it to get the bundled pack of apps that the VLC remote app comes in. Show more

Perfect for use with computer on tv

Excellent app

The remote expands my ability to use hidden VLC features as well as pause for a moment when the doorbell rings.

If you use your computer to watch videos, this is an excellent app. Easily search for a video and easily pause of scroll to any part of the video.

Works great, I wish the playlist could be minimized and the controls could be full screen but everything functions as it should. The $5 upgrade from the free version gets rid of the onscreen and gives you some navigation functionality which is nice Show more

I have been using this app for years but the current version is not compatible with iOS 10.3 and cannot find vlc

I love this app. It has a couple of quirks, like sometimes a folder will show above the icon to go up a folder, and sometimes playing a new video will get a black screen until fullscreen is toggled a couple times, but I love it. Helps me stay in bed a little longer on Saturday mornings when the kids want cartoons :) Show more

I use vlc for all my devices. Easy to use multi device functions
