I’m always on the lookout for a bass guitar app that I can use in note taking Musical ideas as they arrive but in general all the apps I’ve tried, even the kind of boojy “fretless bass” app (which is an awesome and ground breaking midi controller, just not the best bass emulator)all the others tend to make the bass stand out as a feature, and not in a good way. So I was surprised when I ran across this “real bass” app to find that it actually does a good job of sitting in the mix while still retaining a natural tone and feel. Another good thing is the sustain pedal, something I’ve requested from other bass app devs but they never came through. A lot of bass parts are just riding that note in consecutive 8th, 16th or whatever notes and it’s nice NOT to have the little hiccups every time you lift your finger to hit the same note again. What could be better? Maybe velocity sensitivity, string bending, round robin sample layering per note so the ear doesn’t catch the repetition so easily. Less repetition of samples to fill adjacent frets. Especially not from string to string because every string has its own character and deserves its own sample. Those are pretty refined requests for an app that does the job better than average. Just putting it out there. Show more

This company makes the best guitar, bass, and drum apps for people who just want to get the experience of playing a real instrument on their phone. The samples are top notch, the interface is dead simple and inspiring, and while there are ads, they’re not obtrusive. Only thing that would make this (and all your apps) better is making it work with inter-app audio. That’s the only thing that bums me out, there is currently no possible way to record them into garageband. Show more

Like most of these apps, there is no close the app button or function so once its open on your phone you can’t easily get out. No matter the quality of the app if you can’t easy get out it a zero in my book. Show more

When I put one of the basses types it sounds like your putting a guitar wire in an amp so this app is bull crap ? don’t get it.?????

They said and I quote, “learning the bass has never been easier.” That’s not true, you don’t learn the bass and there’s also a ton of junk and trash on this app. If you like and want this app because it’s of the sound, sure, but to learn, don’t. As I said, DO NOT BUY THIS APP. ?? Show more

It sounds like the sound is popping sometimes which is weird.

This app makes my speaker pop even in low volume This is a shame!!! And needs to be fixed right away!!! I am very unhappy!!! SMH!!!

If you turn off let ring and play it, it don't ring makes sense but if you turn it back on it don't ring so I deleted and got it back to see if it worked it didn't but 4 stars Is good for pissing me off Show more

I kind of I kind of do not like how the bass is sustained, please make it so it is only sustained when you hold this train down.

The bass sounds don’t sound realistic at all, it has way too many ads and now I can’t even use it because it crashes every time I play a note. Terrible. Show more

I love this app for the true bass sound and playability. When I am not able to grab a bass work on a riff, i can open the app anywhere. I enjoy the ability to record. Show more
