I don’t know if it is intentional or accidental, but the feature allowing one to jump backward or backward in 30 second intervals has disappeared. This was a VERY useful feature and needs to be reinstated. TuneIn Radio Pro is one of my favorite and most used apps. My rating would go back up to 5 if this feature is reinstated. I wrote the preceding just after the last “upgrade.” It’s fairly obvious the “upgrade” wasn’t an upgrade. The programmers who made the last changes should be able to figure out how they managed to eliminate jump back and forward and pause and fix it. If nothing else they could put it back like it was!! PLEASE FIX THIS!!! I was just notified that your app was just updated…again…and again it did not correct the issues of greatest concern to me…and MANY OTHERS!!! C’mon, FIX THIS!!! I’m back again! I no longer remember which “update” deleted jump back, jump forward, and pause. It has been several weeks since I first noted this and was told by your support group that it WOULD be fixed. You have made 4 or 5 updates since then and you STILL HAVE NOT FIXED THIS!!! Is there ANY chance that Tunein will hire competent programmers who are capable of fixing this? Show more

Hey TuneIn folks - I think by the numerous user comments you are aware the app functions for recording & ~30 minute buffering & +- 30 seconds have been broken for some time - when will you fix them??? With all the ongoing “improvements” - find it hard to believe these broken items haven’t been addressed in a timely manner!! Thanks! Show more

I used to love this app until the rewind capability vanished. Listening to the radio, it was very helpful to rewind a part I’d missed or was hard to hear. The pause was also great, and that’s gone too. Terrible. Show more

Every time they do an update it adds the pre roll commercials before the station starts. I’ve tried writing the technical support and seems like they are full of reasons why it’s the consumers fault. It’s bad enough they took away all the features that made me get the pro version. Don’t waste your money on this app. Show more

Either an utterly stupid decision or incompetent testing.

The only reason I bought this over other similar apps is because it promised no pre-roll ads. I expected ads in the regular scheduled ad sections on the station itself, but whenever I tune in to a station it’ll play a few ads before it’ll let me listen. Not only that but I’ll get interrupted mid way listening to something with a minute or so of ads. Right in the middle of what I was listening to! And there’s no way to rewind to hear what I missed!! It’s so annoying so as soon as I’m able I’m going to request a full refund from Apple. The only reason I haven’t already is the charge is still pending. Show more

With every upgrade you lose features! Recording is gone! Forward and backward 30 secs. are gone. Not worth it anymore in my opinion!

App support giving same crappy response as app. The worst app keeps getting worse. App support don't write me, not interested in excuses. Been a month and crappy app doesn't work. Forw rewind buttons don't work. They still keep asking for money. They already took $10. They must refund. Not one single $ more. Barely usable. Won't maintain buffer if you sneeze, much less if paused or anything else. Progress bar unusable, after 15 minutes worse. Ipad forward rewind buttons, progress bar don't work. Interface a mess. Again barely usable. But there's none else W buffer. Whenever another appappears, will dump this turkey. Worst developers in industry. Coders programers, management. They feed them bananas, monkeys. Worse even than Apple Google. Show more

Although I like the premium content and the wide selection of radio stations, there is no provision for dark mode aside from car mode setting. Fonts do not conform with Apple system files for those requiring larger print. I paid for an annual subscription and wish I had done so on android device because the fonts are much easier to read.I will cancel my iOS subscription if I do not see some effort made to improve the situation and renew it on Android. I have written to support many times but have received no answer. Note that Aufacy and iHeartRadio have made apps accessible. Show more

First the recording feature disappears, and now the 30 minute listening buffer is gone… no more pause and rewind. I’m finding a new streaming app.

There should be a petition to bring back <30 ▶️ 30> feature.

I’ve been using this app (pro version) for over 10 years and it is by far the most used app in all of my iOS devices. It used to work as a miniature DVR and buffer up to 30 minutes while I took a call or got distracted at something else. I could easily go back and listen to the part that I missed. For some reason, they’ve disabled the skip buttons and it is strictly a live stream app. It’s horrible now. The app used to have a record feature I used from time to time but that was stripped away too. I was told they did this to improve the performance of the app but disabling features is not progress. Please, put it back. The streaming is not performing better. In fact, I’ve had to restart the app multiple times because the stream freezes. When this happened in the past, I would simply skip back 30 seconds and it would never freeze again. Now, that option has been removed. Terrible experience, horrible app… FIX IT PLEASE! Show more

App stops playing when screen saver starts. Makes sleep timer useless. Actually the whole app is useless now. I use the app daily multiple times. PLEASE FIX asap. Version 23.7 is broken. Show more

I used to be able to backup 30s then I would forward 30s when songs I didn’t like or commercials came on. Now they’re “grayed out” and I can’t back up ☹️ Show more

I used TuneIn Pro for only one purpose, to listen to the MSNBC feed without commercials. I enjoyed no commercials when it worked properly, but over too long a time it didn’t. I’ve gone back to Apple Music because commercials were less annoying. Show more

Problems I’m having is when screen saver comes on radio turns off; also with the paid app I could record programs in the beginning now I can not. Also after the big update to 15, won’t stay on or will Lock Screen. Show more
