The programming leaves MUCH to be desired. I mostly listen to the “talk” station and first I have to tell you it’s not talk. It’s about half music even though they do have a “music” channel. About every time I turn it on Music and the Spoken Word is on which we know is almost all music and few spoken words. Then they recycle other music shows about hymns which are also mostly music. There’s almost 100 years of recorded general conference talks and they cant come up with more talk content?! The talk shows they DO have never change. They just recycle them over and over. I don’t believe they have generated any new content for several years. For example on “Enduring It Well” they play the episode about the girl who jumps off the cliff in St. George every few months. Then there is the quality of the app itself. It’s buggy and has a lot of glitches where it just stops working and stops responding and you have to close it completely and restart it and of course if you’re listening to one of the few talk programs they actually put on there you miss a few minutes of the content while it closes in reopens and reconnects, etc. The app has this problem regardless of whether it is connected via Wi-Fi or cellular network. With all of the talks and devotionals and education week and women’s conference one would think that there would be no shortage of pure talk content. They could also do much better with having shows and interviews etc. and generating new programming but this App has a limited library that just rehash is like an old playlist. It could be so much better but apparently no one cares. Show more

This isn’t very easy to use. Plus I liked it better when we had a separate app for the kid videos. My son could just open that one app and watch the videos he liked. He was only two. Now at three and a half he needs lots of help with this new app plus I don’t like him to just have at it all by himself. There are scary things on here for a three year old so I literally have to monitor an LDS app that has kid features. I love this App. Especially Hope Works which is like LDS TED talks. Once a video starts to play the X button to go out of the video will not work until the video plays COMPlETELY through the the last second. To exit you need to move the play cursor all the way to the end and let the last seconds play before you can exit the video. A few other features others of suggested would be helpful. I love the lds church channels because I can get the scriptures and music and even get to listen to general conference all the time from when I’am going to church, or even going on long day road trips too. So I am going to give this a 5 star rating. And a special thank you to the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! Show more

We frequently use this app to hear and see the Good Word. The user interface is solid and content is strong. I recommend it to all.

I am willing to change review. There are a ton of glitches when entering a movie and leaving it.

Pretty good except I wish we could make our own playlists and stuff like that

My only complaint is each time I listen to the music it doesn’t update with the newest artist. Presently it is stuck on 4Ordained’s Brightly Beams. I reinstalled the app thinking it was a glitch there was no change. Show more

This app has all you would want, except that it doesn't load. You press play and nothing happens. Please fix it! It used to play such lovely music and now it's a sad mockery. UPDATE Still goes dead when listening to music on the radio. Show more

I love all of the new content in the new app. But, when viewing full-screen video content in the app, pressing the close button closes the content but then reopens it. You have to kill the app if you want to go back to the home screen. Other than this little issue, the app design and reliability is pretty decent. I’m running the iOS version of the app. Show more

EVERY TIME I watch a video on this app I have to close the app completely in order to exit out of the video. If I try and just click the x at the top of the screen, the app will malfunction and keep opening the same video, never taking me back to the main screen. Show more

I didn’t realize the difference between an app on Apple TV and the Apple TV app. This channel is nowhere to be found on the Apple TV app on my new smart tv, so I’m guessing it is only offered as an app on an Apple TV, Roku, ect... Still enjoying this app on iPad, although it does seem harder to navigate. Show more

I would really like it if it would actually play my videos but it just sits on a black screen acting like it’s loading and then it never loads :(

This isn't an issue with the iOS app, but I didn't see anywhere to give feedback on the Roku one. The album art picture on the Tabernacle Choir radio station (on LDS Channel) is flashing like a strobe light. I am using Express+. Show more

When trying to watch videos about Jesus, doctrines and covenants and other stories each video is only a couple minutes long and this makes it difficult to get into the story when I have to select a video every couple of minutes like I’m watching YouTube videos & this is quite inconvenient. Videos should be able to be viewed as 1 single film each instead of dozens of small videos which you have to go to the bottom and work your way up. I get tired of this and can’t watch a whole film so I stop watching and then the app doesn’t note where I left off. Quite frustrating. Show more

You can’t search for any particular speaker or subject. Complete lack of organization and it’s beyond annoying.

Not sure why signal sometimes drops out on talk radio... and sometimes shuts down entirely. I’ve had to close app & restart at least once a week... which is the most buggy of all my apps... Show more

Get with it, you guys; time to change name away from ‘Mormon.’ Get on the stick! :)

We love this app and use it frequently on our mobile devices, tablets, and Roku. It seems the last update removed easy access to the scripture stories with a group of children discussing the story. My children are bummed since they listened to them each day during their “quiet time.” Show more

I wish you were able to create a playlist. You used to be able to do that on the app, then it updated and now you can’t. It would also be nice if we got the playlist feature if we could add stuff in whatever order we want and not in newly posted at the top. It made it hard for the podcasts that were in a story line to listen to them in order. I don’t like how it’s not easy to tell what you have and haven’t listed too. I liked the previous layout of the app better and thought it was more user friendly. Show more
