This app has been around or almost five years and the developer has yet to release an update to make background streaming available. I love wefunk to death but it kills me that I can only listen to the stream if the app is open on my home screen. If you exit the app an let it run in the background, the music dies. COME ON WEFUNK! Get an update together for background mode on iPhones!! Show more

Wefunk keeps it fresh on the reg and never ceases to impress me with their selection and rotation! Hands down my favorite radio spot on the globe. I'm looking forward to a more advanced app that can multitask while continuing to stream and access archived shows! Show more

Longtime WeFunk listener and new iPhone user. The app does what it does but it would be nice to get track info, a way to scrub back if you missed something, and maybe a slightly more improved UI. Still dope that you can tune in on the go, but more advanced features would really make this app much better. Show more

Multitasking at the least. Track info would be nice.

Wefunk is great, but it's easier to listen to through safari so you can multitask, either way there's no info, but this app looks nice enough

Just needs multitaskung support, and display the current show number and track info.

Great app, it's free, it does its job of providing streaming access to the best hip-hop and funk show worldwide. Why are you other reviewers complaining about a free app? JB P.S. I would be willing to pay a few bucks for an app that had playlist info. Show more

Dead simple: press a button and swim in the funk. Note that streaming music will eat your battery more quickly, but it's a space saver compared to subscribing to the podcast. Your call: either way, you win. Would be nice to have some sort of access to what's on the currently-playing episode... Perhaps an in-built way to see the episode page for what's currently playing? All it really does is tune your iPhone to the WeFunk Radio station stream which is available online. It does this well! Keep the Funk at your fingertips wherever you have 3G or wireless! Would love to see track listing an iTunes purchase integration in the next version - perhaps a "buy this track later" button? Show more
